Does anybody else think that this could be the song that brings him back to being relevant in the rock world again?

I think if this song was released in 1989 it would have been just as big as I Remember You, if not bigger.

But this is 2006, I wonder if Radio/MTV will play a song like this?

personally, it's the best ballad I've heard in a LONG time

It does a bit.

The coolest parts - imo - are at:

At 2:33 When it goes into the guitar part, changing from typical electric to a really cool acoustic sounding guitar - sounds cool as hell.

Towards the end when he starts his patented Sebastian growling scream. I LOVE IT.

This is a good version, but there is a better one out there. The solo is longer and his scream towards the end is longer and more powerful.

I can't get this song out of my head!

There is an acoustic version of it - sounds very cool.

Cool version, thanks.

I ran into that myspage page before and I thought it was fake since all the pictures are old. Is this really his official page or fanmade?

Bluesy- Yeah I'd like to know as well, I'm getting a copy. (wikipedia says January 2007)

Great song. Sebastian is the shit, I love that guy.

I will be gettting Angel Down also. It's good to hear somebody actually making good music like they used to make it. Not this Avenged sevenfold, green day, nickleback shit they play on they radio where all you can sing about is killing yourself because your gf left you.

i like seb bach and i like his new material but he needs to get out of the 80's. hair metal is dead and it has no chance in hell of making a comeback. that is the reason why he has trouble finding bands to work with. btw i am not trying to bash the seb bach.

I think it's great that Baz still does the 80's thing! He must be the only fucker who still loves rock n' roll so much that wants to do it "old school style" and not jump into wagon like many other old artists that desperately still want to be relevant...

Rock on Baz! One of the greatest front men of all time! rock3

I don't consider Baz a hair metal guy. He's closer to vintage heavy metal with his vicious head-banging and hardcore rockin'. I mean, you would never witness Bon Jovi, Poison, or Def Leppard rockin' out like Sebastian. I think it's really unfortunate that Skid Row is placed under the same category as those groups just because of their appearance and a hit single, which really isn't representative of their whole body of work. Listen to 'Slave to the Grind' and 'Subhuman Race'. That's metal in the classic sense, along the lines of old school Priest and Maiden. Guys like Baz, Wylde, Ozzy, etc. stick to their roots, and although that hinders their capacity to break out into mainstream stardom, I respect the fact that they know where their hearts lie.

I wish people would stop judging music based on what is written in Rolling Stone or whatever the bullshit media portrays. Create your own standards and enjoy music on your own terms. If you wanna get with the trends that are shoved in your face, you don't enjoy music for what it really is.

Exactly, Baz or Skid Row aren't Hair metal. Listen to Slave to the Grind and then say they are hair metal. Perfect album :) Bach had/has one of the greatest voices in rock.
