I am throwing something out there just for you to consider. Apparently, Axl doesn't think he owes us anything and that he's not on any deadline. He'll release the cd when he wants to release the cd...that is his choice.

Well, it's my choice to download Chinese Democracy, when it is finally released, and wait the same amount to buy the cd that it took him to choose to release it. That's my little way of getting back at them...small but self satisfying nonetheless. So if the album is released in '07, I'll buy it in 2020..if cd's still exist by then.

All that would change with an 06 release.

For two month I asked the seven-eleven store as a loyal customer to order some special ciggs. It tooked the fucker two months to have it in the shells. When he finally got it I was so pissed I stoled it, to pay him two month later. Same scenario bro :rolleyes:

I really dont think that Axl owes any of us anything. Theres nothin new here....what you see is what you get. This is the same ol Axl we all have known.

Though I dont expect anything in particular, I do require honesty. I(we) were told that it would be this year. If it wont(im sure they know at this point) than Im not going to contribute my $ towards the album. I paid my $ to see them live, twice this year, and I got exactly what I paid for. Had I been burnt by him before, I would not have bought a ticket, but I hadent and still have not been. I got MORE than my $'s worth.

If it comes out in 2007 then I wil not run out and buy it, as I will if it is 2006. Yes, one day will make a difference, to me. A statement might make me reconsider, but.....

I can see your point. Me...I love to buy rock music CDs from the many various great hard rock/heavy metal artists but from Axl Rose...that's one person whose CDs I will not be buying anymore. I buy products of loyal, true rockstars and not off egotistical assholes who haven't got any respect for hteir fans so...I will be downloading it too I'm not giving my money anymore to that egotistical asshole if he's gonna be like that.

I've been to 7 concerts, bought all of the past cds and videos... but enough is enough

I predict you will own the album within a week of it's release.

That's why I clearly indicated that it was a small way to get my frustration out. Hey, who knows, if word gets around a little that people might do this as a way to deal with their own frustrations then it might make them act a little...that is the desired intent here. Oh and although it will be hard to resist, I will not buy it...

Anyhoo this whole vengeance thing isn't the way I'm going with CD. I want the CD and I'm gonna get it- whenever it comes out. Why the fuck should I play the drama queen here? I want the album, its been prosponed a hell of a lot- I've been living my life and if it is to come out, I'll go buy it.

It shouldn't have to be so difficult- I just don't get why some people take it personally- I don't get why it offends some of you, it really shouldn't. At the end of the day- it IS just an album. Sure, it's by my favorite band- and I've been waiting for so long! But it IS just an album. And when it comes out- I'll be the first one in line! But no use trying to "get back with Axl". It IS just an album...I must agree. The thing is, at this point, people won't be comparing long awaited opus-like creations to Howard Hughes' film about planes anymore...they will compare it to Chinese Democracy.

Still, I must, for my own sanity, hold a protest of this kind...or else I can't look at myself in the mirror.
