  1. Axl is close to 60 Reunion is now over 4 years old The last unheard new song was played in 2006 The last studio album was in 2008 The last new song before that in 1999 Every studio recording Axl has been featured on in over 20 years can be heard in the time span less than a feature movie Axl has been finished as an artist for years at this point. They reunited the minimum amount of the band to be an acceptable touring/legacy/nostalgia outfit Things since Chinese, 3 presidents were in office, three entire terms nearly An entire new Star Wars trilogy

  2. Wonder what page number this thread will be up to when we hear something concrete about a new album. My guess? 3,000,000

  5. It is nice saving a bit of money on not going out - I’m starting to realise just how much I used to take the kids out to eat rather than having to cook at home but this is also what is happening in my house ....

  6. that's the only positive thing during this time, that we don't spend much money on leisure activities, so more savings to throw in for concerts trips (@Natty ) in 2021.

  7. Oasis did over 71 b-sides and additional tracks. Not including any demos Noel wrote in the era and used on his NGHFB albums. That's five 14 track albums. To put that into perspective, GnR has officially released 79 tracks in total. 12 (AFD) 8 (Lies) 30 (UYI) 12 (TSI) 14 (CD) 1 (shadow) 1 (OMG), 1 (SFTD).

  9. It's actually half Robin / half Bucket. Just like the live renditions. It really pisses me off that Axl teased a very Steve Ray Vaughan style Robin solo in an unreleased song that we may never hear unless it leaks.

  11. When/if it gets to 14 days in advance I'll do a sweepstake game or something. 14 people can draw a day for them to announce the tour isn't happening and see who wins. Obviously it's totally absurd that no one has been told anything yet as it is. Not necessarily. Every day the money sits in someone's high-interest account the more they make.......

  12. Yeah, Axl doesn't seem to have anything against Buckehead either. He promised to share his Dr. Pepper with Buckethead when CD was coming out. GNR credited Chris Weber back in the day too. I see no reason why Robin and Buckethead wouldn't be credited on the next album. What we've heard of the current bands version of Hard School, doesn't sound drastically different from the old. The people who originally wrote the songs should definitely be credited.

  13. Why do you think so? Axl seem to be on good terms with Robin, he even joined the band on stage in L.A. years ago. Not sure about Buckethead, but in the forum chats Axl serned pretty ok with him and basically blamed Merck for the misunderstandings that happened with Bucket.

  14. That's a great point. I've often thought about how Oasis very quickly filled the void left by GNR, in the UK at least. Between 1994 and 2008 Oasis had more like 4 or 5 albums worth of b-sides. Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory essentially both came with a free album of b-sides, plus we got the Whatever single between those albums, which had 3 brand new songs on it! Oasis released 128 original songs. It's crazy to think in this same 14 year period all we got from Axl was Oh My God in 1999.

  16. Would say this is a tad naive. Axl has been hoarding his creative outlet for nearly 3 decades now. Just because it's not shared with you doesn't mean nothing is made.

  17. but is he even interested in getting a real manager? it's like you're offering an obese person that doesn't give a fuck about his weight and health to hire a professional trainer and go on a strict diet when they are perfectly happy with their lifestyle while their partner is giddily feeding them cakes and ice cream all day long. even the best manager in the world wouldn't be able to get Axl to do something he doesn't want to do imo and after what happened with Azoff I doubt he'll trust anyone else ever again enough to put them in that position of power. Slash and Duff joined Axl's b

  23. There are people like Sebastian Bach who have heard all 3 CDs. But we don't know if all songs had lyrics. Sebastian could give us an answer in a podcast. Beside that...its obvious that Axl didnt rerecord his lyrics til 2008. Imo, he did new vocals in 2018? Imo there is absolutely no chance that buckethead and robin will be listed as songwriters in an upcoming album. Axl did the same with Matt.

  24. One I like (and is meaningful to me): Oasis had their whole recording career between the release of The Spaghetti Incident and that of Chinese Democracy. That's 7 studio albums + 2 or 3 album worth of b-sides.

  25. I saw they were using hydro spray on the streets of some city to kill the virus. Good you can get back in your garden. I will freak if they find the virus in plants! Marsha has me running already pulling things for orders. As I was putting them out today I did a different lay out and I got to thinking I could spell out help with these. Don't tell GNR I do that during their shows too. I play the solitaire games that come with the computer. I like to think of the Dead as time travelers of sorts. They brought a lot of music forward and reached out for more. Hunter was one

  26. Yeah hopefully and maybe we can lessen the aftermath. Even if we were to completely succeed I won't be celebrating until you're all out of the woods too of course. So surreal that it's everywhere. It's heartbreaking that there's lots of poor people who have lost their jobs and are neck deep in desperation rn...bleach?! Honestly still not over that. Most infected here were travellers we even had a bunch of people from Wuhan which were seemingly casually let in before we got serious about this. I hope you were joking when you said on the previous page you only want to lookout for yo

  28. Sort of on subject about CD2 and This I Love with "rasp vocals" The CD2 song list that leaked recently contains a track listed as: "TIL2 V" among other CD1 songs listed followed by "2". I've gotten in trouble here for talking about this before, but that list is real and I stand by that. Who knows if that was in reference to the leaked This I Love remix we heard, or something else. This CD2 list was dated early 2008, so pre CD, and also had Catcher on there, which others have said was not intended to be on the first album based on early track listings they saw, including L!VE FREE, may he

  32. I believe all these things are true: with every Gn'R album there was some kind of progress. It wasn't like an AC/DC album at least. If he didn't care about the catalog, he would have released way more music instead of focusing on just 1 project and many musicians close to Axl or in Gn'R have said he is a perfectionist including Brian May, Alice Cooper, Fortus, etc. DJ and Duff both said Axl got a ton of great unreleased material so just because we've got the 2019 leaks doesn't mean that's all Axl managed to accumulate.

  33. Well dont know where should I put it and since it has been discussed here before I am gonna put it here. Remastered River Plate 1993 was put on Youtube yesterday. It's kinda cool for us fans that at least youtube is doing some work to please us during the quarentine and is posting things that guns should put online. I wonder how it works on the legal ground though,

  43. Not his worst, but definitely not his best album either. Buying a random Buckethead album is a crapshoot honestly, but it's easier if you know what style you're looking for. Check out Population Override or Captain EO's Voyage, or Hold Me Forever if you want something a bit heavier.

  44. I like Bumble's additions to CD, but I really struggle with his guitar tone. Even his killswitch live sounded kinda weak. The Going Down, Oh My God and Silkworms demos were really not that special, though.
