  1. GNR's productivity makes Tool's productivity look like Buckethead's productivity

  2. Guns n' Roses look so shit without Metallica. Metallica just compounds it and shows how a proper band treats their fans.

  4. They really just said “what songs does Axl butcher the most often” and put those all in one video

  5. So out of respect for the BLM protests, Fernando said they weren’t uploading videos at the moment. Then on June 19 of all days, he decides to upload? We already knew he was full of shit, but this proves it. Regardless, I’m pumped for it.

  6. Sadly not. Considering the lyrical content of the band page we are discussing, it is an apt way to describe the trainwreck of a manager

  7. They’re just off the back of one of the highest grossing tours of all time. They rehearsed Hardschool. Axl stated his plan is to release more music with Guns. Susan’s comments on Brando’s podcast among everything else alluding to stuff happening. They won’t be retiring any time soon. I really don’t understand the need for threads like this especially taking into account everything that’s happened these last few years.

  8. I just made it through Slither. Axl sounds like Mickey Mouse, it's pure shit. That's the truth and you know it.

  9. Not your job to sing better, or as good. There's a reason he gets paid millions and because of that he should be nailing it or at least be good every night. The odds of getting a good Axl is way too low. Anyway, you can be critical! Thats the main point I'm making.

  10. Even if you are a genius you would benefit from engaging with lecturers and other students. You learn so much for discussing ideas with others. The only cases where homeschooling would be better in terms of transferring knowledge to people, is where the parents doing the homeschooling are really good in all the subjects taught at school, and that is really not often the case. Teachers are professionals. They know the subject matter and pedagogics. It is kind of arrogant, and a devaluation of teachers, to think most parents could do the job as well. In addition, school isn't only for book

  13. It’s not pointless, because there’s no particular aim or effort – it’s just venting frustration. And the guy doesn’t need much to get offended either. I mean, honestly, when you read his comments, he’s being sarcastic, condescending, and bitter even on the tiniest occasions. If he was a proper PR person and not just a gig-booking manager, he’d address the public – the fans community – properly. Yet he’s chosen shady unofficial platforms like Reddit or Discord, so how can one expect civilized conversations without trolls and jerks when one chooses such communication channels – and, above all

  17. this is a documentary of how the song sweet child or mine was created and recorded, they interview marc canter and he shows the video from burbank studios from 1986 where the guns n roses perform sweet child o mine for the first time and also shows the concert for a few seconds 1986 on whiskey a go go. They also interviewed Nigel Dick, director of the video for Sweet Child o Mine. interesting documentary watch it

  18. I think Slither was the best of this "selects", because Axl's low voice still sounds great and powerful and I don't find the chorus so bad. The rest, no, they weren't good vocally. It's happening again
    2 points
  19. No. If you don't like it then don't just watch it... bruh you probably wanted this.. and you're still complaining.. just like what you got...

  20. Yep, out of time lyrics on the verses and full Mickey in the chorus. If this is the best version, I’d hate to see the worst.

  21. I really don't want to be negative, but aside from Slither this was worse than the 2019 video. The audio and video quality is obviously better, but man... who the fuck picked these songs? And why do they keep picking performances with obvious fuck-ups!? Hopefully it doesn't take another month before they upload the next video.

  22. Camera work was done by Download Festival for TV as opposed to GNR's organisation, afaik. Probably explains why it's so high quality.

  23. This is mixed FAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR better than the last pro shot. Slither was good, RQ not so much on Ax's part

  24. Man, Axl's decision to Mickey his way through the Slither choruses is such a baffling decision for a song that should've been an absolute home run for him vocally.

  25. So the videos are getting longer as we work back the years, eh? Half hour for 2018 versus 15 minutes for 2019. So, one can hope that after the one hour long 2017 video we get a full on 2016 performance! I know, I'll keep dreaming. Strange show choice once again on the Axl front but looking forward to it nevertheless.

  31. Another thing is that it would be good if the box set is released and ready to ship earlier in the year instead of the middle of the summer. That way we can properly celebrate the anniversary of UYI the whole year.

  32. That is an old 90’s poster. I had it as a child and it is the only artistic representation of Gilby in the band. Gilby views himself as lead guitar player. Slash is also on record of saying Gilby didn’t fit his style.

  33. I would love to see Gilby back in the mix. Slash and Gilby always played great together.

  34. Oh yeah, the same way they did a AFD5 show for the launch of the AFD boxset

  35. Learning algebra helps you develop problem solving skills, logical thinking, finding patterns and is basically faster than math. And yes, it does indeed help you put up that painting on the wall. Also, sorry to say this but fixing stuff requires very basic knowledge. Us lazy millenials are too busy building bridges between communities and cultures. I know you denounce science, but I keep getting the feeling that you see scientists as these goofy guys with glasses that you see in cartoons.

  36. I think the point is having an education where you're taught about things by people who actually know what they're doing. I mean with the best will in the world your average Joe isn't going to do as well as a qualified teacher when it comes to teaching their kid at a decent level. The thing I find funny is that you don't see many people who denigrate the value of formal education going to a plumber for their annual colonoscopy.

  38. Dizzy is 100% not getting back into GNR. 1. He brings no financial gain to the perception of the group 2. The band already have a guy in that role that, a lot fans like and Axl and Slash seem to be as high on him as ever. The only reasons Gilby gets back on stage with GNR are that he's playing a festival on the same day, or he's in the same town for whatever reason and said he'd check out the show... the only other option would be that GNR wanted to do a one off UYI "reunion" spot within one of their gigs with the current group. I think Axl likes him, but I don't think he loves his

  40. Three mistakes in 2 sentences. He has no peacemaker implanted, it's a defibrillator which has already stopped working due to low batteries. He has to pay each of his two kids 39k per month until a certain age and 1.8% of his income until 2036. Perla got a house and some cars. The way I understand it he doesn't have to pay her 100k per month since he payed her an equalization of 6.6 million dollar. https://theblast.com/slash-perla-ferrar-guns-n-roses-millions-dollars-support/ I hope this myth of him being forced doing this reunion has an end now.

  41. The unfortunate thing with this is Metallica still puts vids on youtube and with the lockdown situation have been confirmed of working on a new album. It makes GNR look so shit.

  42. I think saddism plays a part here. He/they know we want something so much, we fans are like crawling through a desert looking for water when it comes to anything released by them. And he gave us like one drop to make sure we keep crawling, while sitting on the watersupply laughing in our faces. He likes to see us crawling desperatly.

  43. What we’ve got here is nostalgia -Same set list Some men, you just can’t see -AFD5 So, you get what you have here -no new music Which is the way he wants it Well, he gets it!

  44. Look im a very optimistic mind here so i gotta say i honestly dont think theyll retire without atleast one more album. I think Axl still has them emotional connections the the hundreds of unreleased songs and he’ll complete them somehow before retirement. I think its a bit harsh to say they’ll release nothing when Hardschool was soundchecked and on setlist, Duff’s wife has heard new stuff, Nando promises new stuff (maybe not a reliable source lmao) but yeah I certainly think to not release anything at all is not very likely and very pessimistic

  45. Nope, some of us have been Numb for years..... I think there should be a FAQ or flow chart to help explain to newer GNR fans or forum members the unparalleled misery they will have as a fan of this band. This band is like revisiting a crime scene, as much details as are available have been read, pored over, discussed, argued, etc, etc, for many years. We only have bits and pieces of information, but what we do know for certain is that at some point in the late 20th century, all of mankind was united in celebration of GNR, we marvelled are their magnificence as they birthed TSI.

  47. This is beyond unprofessional at this point. I mean, I do want the series to restart, but that's not the way a manager of one of the biggest act in the world should behave.
