  1. Why shouldn't he? He's a citizen of the US, he's got every right to care.

  2. Damn GNR release some new music, your fans are so bored they’re debating weather or not people take a piss break during your 2 biggest hits lol

  3. @troccoli i have come out of posting retirement to give you this very special important message about a UYI BOX SET: -It needs to include as much Steven Adler as possible. This would include the entire Mates rehearsal from 1989 which includes Adler drumming on Coma. It is a travesty this is being boarded. -UYI would benefit from sounding more raw and angry. In order to do that, Dizzy Reed should be eliminated from most if not all songs. -There has got to be a You Could Be Mine demo with Steven Adler on it and we want to hear it. -get rid of sound

  4. They shouldn't have started this selects thing if they can't even get something like this done in a professional, NOT frustrating for the fans way. To this day, it's just another thing to piss off the real fans.

  6. The early mixes of Civil War and KOHD (Nobody’s Child Benefit Album and Days of Thunder soundtrack) Don’t Cry demo Yesterdays live Vegas ‘92 KOHD from the Freddie benefit Coma from Live Era Shadow Of Your Love from the Live and Let Die single. (Not the LLAS version) LALD live Wembley ‘91 I think that’s all that’s out there as far as b-sides from UYI 1 and 2, right? Not counting the Slash interview from the Civil War EP. There’s also the weird version of KOHD from the one disc version of UYI that has the phone call section completely edited out.

  7. I wouldn't say they shouldn't have started it because it's better than nothing IMO. But the way it's done is typical GNR. It sucks that they can't do anything like a normal band would do

  8. Less than 12 hours after asking for a refund for the gigs, Getting a refund back for 2 tickets for both London, Glaagow & Dublin.. Decent service that as they got a kickin for giving no information out a while back

  9. Yeah. I also got money back for my 2 irish Diana Ross shows. I don't really think they should cancel right away. They need to plan ahead for when concerts can happen again, they don't organize concerts within 2 weeks and obviously it is a tough time for concert promoters, but they should leave the option for people to ask for and get a refund without hassle. That's the least they could do to treat their customers with respect. I trust that most people will hang on to their tickets anyway.

  10. Such a grand thank you for all the people who have been buying really expensive tickets for the last 15yrs... this is incredible, you have to wonder what the European consumer centre was doing when this was snuck through! It's a complete crock of shit. I bought a ticket for May 2020, I accept that circumstances change but they can't guarantee rescheduled dates because of the virus so my money should be returned. I don't want a ticket or voucher for an event that I might not be able to go to.

  11. I'm not contesting that or the fact it's run by robots. I'm saying something could be done about it had someone wanted. It doesn't happen - in this extent - with other bands. See all those various montages with only Guns missing. It's just pathetic.

  12. Does anyone have decent resolution copies of the Grenade and Red Hand covers? I think there are ways to ‘enhance’ lower resolution copies via photoshop etc and will look to that if no-one has any copies. It seems there is the possibility of getting a custom vinyl jacket made but need good resolution copies for it. 👍

  14. It's amazing how Fernandont manages to turn a potential good thing (uploading selected NITL vids during Corona) into something annoying. No schedule, shitty performances, bad sound. He truly is quite special.

  15. Me and my wife after years of saving have finally been able to afford a house and so we now have the opportunity and free cash to travel and see a bit of the world. Was hoping to get recommendations for travel destinations, holidays you’ve been on, stories, pictures etc! We live in the UK.

  18. Golden State had three players Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin. They took the first letter of their names and called them Run TMC.😄 They had a contest and a fan came up with the nickname.

  20. It’s definitely edited out. I have the disc. It’s not the cleanest edit in the world, but if you never knew that it was there in the first place, you wouldn’t notice.

  23. Yeah, but ever since book stores have closed no one has come to Dallas anymore. That sucks. But luckily my favorite authors keep writing and I'll keep reading. I have found a few news mystery writers in the past few years. I still love holding a book in my hands and reading that way. Currently reading: Home before Dark by Riley Sager

  24. Ah, just forget about it folks. The thing was a dud from the start. I can't say a couple of live songs on youtube really impacted on me, one way or the other.

  25. Yeah mate, you’re exactly right. And yes it is really frustrating and sad that it is either you go to a concert and get ripped off, or don’t go at all. I mean, I’m fine with paying a decent amount for attending a show that probably cost a lot to put on, and I’m even okay with the bands and artists I love making a lot of money, but the ticketing companies just use a lot of smokescreens and deception when selling tickets to really gouge their customers, us...
    1 point
  26. Yeah. If you protest you only lose out yourself and change nothing in the big scheme. That's the sad thing about it.

  27. While they hang on to your money they control it and can potentially make money off the collective cash they have stored up. I’d be doing everything possible to get a refund. It is criminal, I’m hoping the whole system of concert ticketing comes crashing down and more decent companies come along one day that makes it a fairer transaction for the fans. I hope companies like viagogo and stubhub burn big time, I’m very reluctant to even go to gigs in the future due to the way fans are ripped off.

  28. Yeah. That may be better. Either way be wary of any tickets you buy between now and then, considering how these european countries shit on consumer rights and cut their rights after the fact. Only buy, if it doesn't bother you that the money's gone for good/held up for the next couple of years either way: https://www.evz.de/en/shopping-internet/coronavirus-cancelled-events.html

  34. I wanted to buy a simple, portable FM radio for when I'm sitting in my garden. it needed to have a retro 80s, black plastic look, no LCD screen, a moving dial to chose radio stations, and none of that USB crap or software enhanced audio. It needed to have interference noise like in the good days, you know, so that I feel like I'm actually listening to the fucking radio and not some milennial fanny i-nonsense. well fuck me sideways, I needed to look ages to find what I wanted. But I did. Here's my little cute new radio doesn't it look just gorgeous?

  35. Oh I know. Unfortunately that’s been evident since the reunion - pre-reunion there was much more variety and the fans at that time were much more ‘hardcore’.

  37. Every average music fan out there has Axl and Slash in mind when talking/hearing/reading about GNR. Slash made history as one of the best guitarists in one of the biggest rock bands ever. Imagine you settle differences with your lead singer and you're able reform this band, wouldn't you do it? GNR is Slash's baby as much as it's Axl's. He doesn't need a divorce to reunite what he has built in the first place. Particularly as Slash's GNR buisness has nothing to do with his alimony to Perla.
    1 point
  38. he reunited with GnR because he's been wanting to for years. The one time Axl went back to slash, slash was back in the band. You think he reunited with GnR purely because he was getting a divorce and wanted to pay for it!?

  41. I'm not sure... it already got a renewed season in 2011. Back in the 90's it was sorta controversial, but since then there have been animated shows like South Park and Family Guy that take it a lot further and have a lot of stereotypical and even racist jokes when you think about it, but are still among the most popular animated shows on TV right now. Beavis and Butt-head is rather innocent compared to those shows.

  42. If you would've told me in 2006 that one day Slash would be saying the same things about new music as Bumblefoot and Fortus used to, I'd probably have an aneurysm.

  43. Axl will deal intensively with his voice and regularly take singing lessons and vocal training. He will have a tight daily schedule, including diet advice and a gym for build muscle and fat burning. When the time comes, the best Guns N 'Roses studio album gets his release and we see an extremely motivated Axl Rose in his best physical shape of his life, on stage with a bloody hell kickass setlist.

  44. British journalist Paul Elliot had written in Kerrang in 1991 that he had listened to a demo of You Could Be Mine in 1987, when the band was in England for the Marquee shows: "THE BAND had a rough demo of 'You Could Be Mine’ when they were holed up in Kensington on their first trip to the UK back in the Summer of ’87. Between those famous Marquee gigs, they played a song on a ghetto blaster and sang Axl’s lines in rough harmony. The band are now a little older and a lot richer, but this song is still the same hard bastard, only with cooler guitar breaks" [Kerrang! July 20, 1991]. htt
