  1. I'll yoga my ass into being able to give myself a BJ before we see a complete new GNR album. I do hope i'm wrong... because i can't do yoga

  2. The band has put their fans in such a shitty situation for almost THREE DECADES now. The fans want badly to pay GN'R for their work, but GN'R absolutely refuses to give fans a way to do that. So the fans are forced to scrape together whatever audio and video they can through other means than the much preferred method of paying the band directly. Even then the fans are met with entitled attitudes, lies and threats. Guns N' Roses can absolutely go fuck themselves.

  3. It really takes a lot for someone like me, who is very passionate about the value of music, and the need for people to buy it rather than stream it etc, who buys everything they listen to, to think people are wankers for making these sorts of copyright 'claims'. I believe fully in people putting their hands in their pockets if they like something. But this sort of bullshit really is just nonsense. A few incels lashing out because it makes them feel big or important and they're so unpleasant 99.9 per cent of fans won't associate with them, no matter how many alt-accounts and profiles they

  4. Thanks 🤣 Trying to cancel or erase cinema (the most collaborative art form there is) because someone problematic worked on it is just fucking stupid. It’s book burning level stupid. I respect the rights of anyone to *personally* vote with their wallet and not support projects based on the people involved but that should be the end of it.

  5. Mygnr in 2026: The tenth anniversary of NITL is the perfect time to finally release the new album. It didn't make sense to release it before now, it would've been too soon and a band like GNR can't just rush into things. But I'm sure Fernando's daughter will update us any day now. Mygnr in 2027: Well, they couldn't release a new album and a line of NITL anniversary t-shirts. But they've obviously been working on stuff and they wouldn't record all those songs and not release them. Slash seems optimistic! Mygnr in 2028: Guys, nobody has seen Axl in 8 years, I'm starting to think maybe

  6. So I’m pretty new to this forum and enjoyed reading through some of these threads. They are a welcomed distraction from slugging it out constantly it seems. Long story short, I lost my dad recently and have been on a huge nostalgia trip recently. Been revisiting my youth by cracking out an old games console and listening to GNR in the background, reading old mags and watched an Izzy film (which was pretty cool) I’ve fallen back in love with this band and kind of connected with me again (I think) Anyway, I’ve been reading about Gilby and I just think it was pretty cool that he jumped in

  7. Yeah - but it worked - if you have to kiss a bit of buttock to get some info, fair enough. He should be praised for taking one for the team. The next stage, kissing a bit of Brazilian peepee in exchange for information, might be a step too far. Might be.

  8. And that dumb fuck del james doesnt think highly of people uploading vids either. Another skid mark on the GNR gravy train. I would really like to know slash and duffs thoughts on the excess baggage that should be dropped around this band.

  9. It's stuff like this that makes me care less about this shitstain of a band. How can 2 psycho fans keep doing this. Someone needs to hack the life out of them. Or SWAT them like angry gamers do. And Fernando, you're an asshole for letting this happen.

  10. Another chapter is out. It deals with the period from December 1994 to October 1996: https://www.a-4-d.com/t5018-19-december-1994-october-1996-axl-and-slash-fights-slash-quits A longer period than usual and to some extent a period clouded in mystery. The band was working but the lineup wasn't entirely clear and Axl did no interviews in this period. Slash, on the other hand, did interviews and would occasionally badmouth Axl and Axl's music. After a failed attempt at finding a compromise in Zakk Wylde to replace Gilby, Slash left to tour with Snakepit and him and Axl stopped talking. In a

  13. Well, if it was an excuse, Slash kept lying to the press about it a fair bit then, to keep up appearances. I read a lot of articles back then where Slash said it was a record company decision. It could be that Matt got the order of events wrong in his book. I had posted this several pages back in the thread in regards to what was said in interviews of the time: So maybe the original disagreement occurred when Slash had announced that the band would be called "SVO Snakepit". And then, when the band was renamed again to "Slash's Snakepit" Matt didn't buy that it was

  15. Gosh loads of posts on Youtube due to axl's post...to have such power wow He did say in his post of a few weeks ago, it did not matter whether Democrat or Republican he would call them out if he thought they wrong.

  16. Thank you. It will also just get better and better as I keep adding quotes from more recent interviews and sources (currently come to August 2002) and as I work more on language, fix mistakes, and include all internal links. It will become the most comprehensive source to GN'R history, the ultimate reference - simply because it is based on the by far largest collection of sources. And on that note I cannot thank @Blackstarenough for the amazing work she has done by helping to uncover new articles and interviews, and for discussing and providing invaluable help on interpreting sources and

  22. Biden/Harris. These two did nothing but yell at each other in the debates. Everyone says Harris will follow what Biden wants. That will be interesting. I honestly hope they win and get Trump the hell out. These 4 years have been terrible for America. We need to get back to caring about each other and respecting each other. All this hate and rage is not healthy for anyone.

  23. I know I feel that everyone needs a little blessing every now and then. I know they are sincere when they say it, so I accept it. I know I always tell people "God bless you" when they sneeze. I guess it's the Catholic in me. That's how I was raised. Sometimes I just say "bless you". Yeah, I know if you cough or sneeze with the virus I'm sure most people would be nervous. I know I would be. It's horrible to feel that way, but you just don't know and it's allergy season here in Texas right now. And now alot of the mosquitoes are carrying the West nile virus now. Another thing to worry

  24. Bizarre ER Not for the faint at heart. lol Love this show Still a Mystery Seinfeld The Apology X Files was the best. Even when they brought it back on Fox for a season it rocked. Not sure if it'll be back again? Buffy the Vampire Slayer rocked! It was so good and even better than the movie. I also loved Angel too. Both these shows were so good.

  26. I thought liking a band and their music was supposed to be a pleasant experience but what I have learnt here is it can be pretty dark and complex, I dont understand why, I dont understand the secrecy and disdain of fans, although I can imagine some fans can be a pain in the ass and worse and maybe this colours the attitude. It is hard to understand as their lives are so very different from most of us, it would be like trying to understand a human from the past or the future or a creature with five legs...and so on.

  27. It's just half an hour ago that you claimed what Trump did is the "exact same stuff" Biden did. Maybe you should pay more attention to the nonsense you write when trolling so you don't come across as such a moron?

  29. The delay is good news but also representative of a bigger issue. They blame it on the pandemic, but it's clear that isn't the real reason why. They have had half a decade to put out a decent product. New engine or not (which looks horrendous, anyways), they could not even put out a presentable gameplay showcase in all these years. This has been one of the most disasterous reveals in recent memory, even the story looks uninteresting. The Brute monologue at the end was overlong, hard to understand, and cheesy. It does nothing to get you excited. I welcome a delay if it helps, but I fear it

  30. if we accept that extreme intelligence exists, then we need to accept that by definition, the majority of people are not extremely intelligent. Otherwise, the adverb "extremely" would be meaningless. Extremely points to a minority, by default. so when "numerous" parties are communicating the same idea, then the mere fact that they are "numerous" is worrying. Then, the legitimate question arises if these "numerous people", in a world populated by mostly non-intelligent people, are extremely intelligent themselves. And seeing how the probability of these "numerous people" NOT being very int

Maybe throw away a vote on a person from say not one of the main parties or a different party, and go with what he believes in, even knowing they would lose?

  38. Axl had also bought the house in the Hollywood Hills when he was married to Erin (it's the one he gave the Famous Last Words interview from). He intended to have it as a family only home (and keep the condo as an office for his GnR business - and visits from friends etc.) but I don't think they lived there much as a couple, if at all. I'm not sure where he lived in 1991 and 1992 (mostly during tour breaks) before he bought the Malibu house. Maybe he lived in the Hollywood Hills house until he sold it, or maybe he had rented a temporary place. Martin Chambers was the drummer for th
