I heard that to get the true GNR experience the actual pinball machine will tell you the pinballs will be ready to drop soon, and then the actual machine won't do anything for 12 years10 points
-
I'm starting to wonder at which point this band got into thinking that GNR fans are all millionaires and that our money pockets are bottomless. Actually i wouldn't even be surprised that if you buy this machine, you still have to put in money for it to function and someone like Dell will come by to collect that each month.8 points

Mel now has a recording credit with the band! Roberta's gonna be pissed5 points

I first read the thread title as "MY-GnR members shaving", and was a bit baffled what we female users could add to it But well, it's about the band members, so all good5 points

They got sent 18 HD Pro shots of 3 hours each to choose from and add into it.4 points

Fuck this whole new album situation. So jealous of hardcore AC/DC fans.4 points

I'd pay $1000 for a super deluxe Chinese Democracy release. 3+ CDs worth of material, including the remix CD, CD2 and CD3 songs, both complete and incomplete, I'd eat it all up for $1,000 easy. A little red hand or grenade flash drive full of tracks.4 points

These fuckers withhold tons of footage from the fans on a daily basis, but shell out over 40 hours like it’s nothing for a damn pinball machine.....3 points

"Featuring new music by Slash" They can't even release like 30 seconds of new music for a goddamn pinball game. Also, I'm sure the "Guns N' Roses Pinball" shirt the woman in the promo is wearing will be up on GN'Rs site for like $30.3 points

So the only way we are getting new music is through a pinball machine, eh? Also, I’d like to remind everyone that back when slash first talked about this a year or two ago I suggested that they updated the AFD cross again to reflect the NItL lineup and everyone laughed at me... And yet they went and did just that... That all being said, while I don’t play pinball, it’s cool to see the band doing something, and the three variants are all interesting in their own ways! Looking forward to hearing the new instrumental song.3 points

There're people out there who'd eat their own shit. To each his own, I guess3 points

I've said this tons of times, but somewhere along the line GN'R started mistaking their fans for Stones fans from the 80s or Eagles fans from the 90s.2 points

What in the Actual Fuck! This has me convinced GNR is a Brand and not a Band. Bands put out music not fuckin laundry bags and this pin ball bull shit!!2 points

Who knows? The complete lack of ANY information has created a “vacuum....then we fill that vacuum”....full of all sorts of shit because we have nothing to go on. FRUSTRATING AS FUCK. FWIW I think it’s more record company politics regarding the release more than anything. But like everyone else on here - it’s just a hunch. 🤷🏼♂️2 points
-
Anyone else getting the impression that they’ve hit some kind of serious internal drama in regard to the next album? Maybe they can’t agree on the sound/direction....Again? 🤦🏻♂️2 points

Well, it’s kinda funny anyway, isn’t it. Certain (e.g. Australian) fans have news about singles and new albums, including exciting promos, while we’re stuck with threads about the type of spaghetti on the TSI cover, Steven maybe being bisexual, and some members not growing beards... plus the band manager telling us to "move on" on Reddit. Welcome to the fumble, we got scum and shame...2 points

Just what we always wanted, thank you GnR! How many will be sold? 17? In lieu of new music of course...2 points

Woohoo! Where does Slash live? We may need to go trick or treating there.2 points

They already used older Malcolm tracks for Rock Or Bust. That's nothing new. I just looked at the RoB booklet. "All songs written by Angus and Malcolm Young".2 points

Haha - it's something that I thought I'd finally ask others their thoughts on! In Duff's book doesn't he even talk about smelling awful because he didn't wash much? Even weirder when you consider that!2 points
-
Ha, what a topic! You're right, though. I would understand this with promo pics, but seeing the shows, it's the same. He can - at least a stache/goatee, you can tell from close-up pics. The 1992 bearded Axl is one of my favourite Axls, btw. 2006 rocked too, but I wasn't crazy about the 2010-14 Hogan stuff.2 points
-
Yeah I think the initial reports from a couple years ago just got the wires crossed and that, just like Rock Or Bust, the songs are based on Malcolm's riffs but that Stevie in fact plays guitar on the songs.2 points

Bear with me on this one......desperate times call for desperate talking points! It's always baffled me how Duff and Slash were always clean shaven, despite the levels of alcohol/drug excess that were going on. We know about the amount they were drinking, the state they were in etc.....yet they always seemed to manage to shave! This has long baffled me. Surely, drunk as Duff was, you'd think any attempt to shave would have resulted in disaster...and that they simply would have stopped bothering. You see Duff looking bloated, unwell, trousers undone, but clean shaven. How?! Ha1 point

I did a cover of the awesome Jamey Johnson song. I do it a little differently but I hope you enjoy it. Cheers.1 point

Well, in your view maybe. In mine it's one of the best albums ever recorded. I think you are probably one of the only people on here that has the opinion that fans "maybe not" want new music!1 point

Kiss have released two studio albums, three live albums and three compilations since CD came out. GNR fans would kill for that level of output!1 point

Dude that is awesome!!!! Also congrats on getting in interview with a member of the Black Crows, I know how big of a fan you are!1 point

I have the original GnR one in my garage, but no way am I paying for any of these new ones.1 point

Blabbermouth ran a story on my interview and the episode is blowing up! https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/ex-the-black-crowes-drummer-steve-gorman-on-chris-robinson-ill-never-be-in-a-room-with-that-guy-again/ (I'll answer the Page question later, I promise lol)1 point

Anyone notice the live footage? Proves they have a shitload of better recorded live videos than the Selects we have been getting, with actual up close shots of Axl.1 point
-
I think he actually said 'Some' were old Malcolm riffs, recorded by Stevie. Angus has definitely contributed his own riffs too, no different to when Mal was still an active member of the band.1 point

I doubt they were drunk 24/7 to a point where they neglected basic hygiene all the time.1 point

I appreciated the sentiment behind the cover and it’s decent but I wasn’t blown away at all by it. Particularly during he latter part when you’d think he would really go for it like Axl does....nothing. A class singer nonetheless. Still - better than most of the pish out there in the charts I guess.1 point

Watching the vid, axl had so much stage presence and reminded why GNR were my favourite band at that time.1 point
