  1. It will go down like this: 1. There will be a new single consisting in an old unreleased demo with a polished sound. Rumbo Tapes and the likes. 2. We'll be suspicious as to who recorded let's say the drum track for this. 3. Wel'll ask Frank. He'll say "That's a question for the management". 4. We'll ask the official band manager (i.e. on Reddit). 5. He'll reply after a few months, saying "Move on". End of story. But I don't think such a thing could happen, right?

  2. GNR were still extremely popular in America in 1992-1993, much more so than Nirvana. Nirvana truly exploded after Kurt's death around the Unplugged airing. People were lining up to buy the Illusions records in late 1991. "November Rain" was one of the most highly-requested and played songs on MTV in all of 1992. It was the disappearance of GNR and the breakup that caused them to fade in popularity. Certainly not Kurt's antics.

  3. 1. need a booklet on "how to survive a riot" 2. an activity book to kill time while you wait for GNR to hit the stage. you know, cross word puzzles, where in the world is izzy Stradlin (like where's waldo), help slash hide his stash.... but in order for this book to be accurate it would have to be the size of a Los Angeles phone book. lol

  4. Well, as you were the one to start it... Here I come again women. I've made a new video featuring Slash and Axl's friendship and you can check it in here:

  5. I enjoy the songs that feature Axl. He sounds better on all of them than he does on most of CD. His voice was so good in 2006-2007.

  7. I wouldn't put any of my loved ones in that place I'm at. I don't think they're anti-social because I see most of them at the different nurses station just flapping their gums. There's been a few times I've been by myself in my hall cleaning rooms and hearing my residents yell out "Help I'm sliding out of my chair" and had to do the homebase baseball slide and catch them before they fall and hurt themselves. That's how I found out about the "don't touch the patients" rule. But I mean what was I supposed to do? Let them fall and crack their heads open or something?

  15. I hate to say it, but I'd be surprised if whenever GN'R tours again if they play Hardschool, or any other new song or song they have not played live in years.

  16. I think Steven was confused thinking it was a new recording and so not him. Frank probably knows Axl doesn't want him or anyone else going around talking about Steven being on the recording hence the "No comment."

  17. If I recall correctly, GNR always said it was an old recording and nothing was re-recorded. So that would be Steven. But Steven said it wasn't him. Hence the doubts.

  20. My guess on what it'll include: - UYI 1 and 2 - Tokyo 92 DVD's (UYI 1 and 2 DVD's) - A few demo's - TSI - tons of fake recreated crap memorabilia So yeah, woldn't want to get my hopes up for that one.

  21. Yup that's my position in NZ too. I actually haven't even bumped into others who are even considering going, last time they were here it was the opposite. Some folk i've mentioned the upcoming gigs too didn't even realise they were coming, and pretty much just shrugged it off. Definitely a monumental cash grab, seeing as at the time of booking Aus & NZ were the few countries out there that were looking positive for tours/crowds/etc. Crazy prices for tickets to watch the same show as last time too, nope thanks

  22. Call me crazy, but I think the average GOP voter would probably support a lot of democratic-socialist type policies if you just called it something else (like if you called Universal Health Care, 'Patriot-Care' for example) and Donald Trump gave it an endorsement.

  26. This is what sane, competent, and non-evil governance looks like: https://www.axios.com/immigration-mayorkas-dhs-chlid-separation-1d363bd3-694d-4f12-8804-11b3724ba940.html Prior to the absolute travesty that was Trump's response to the pandemic, the needless separation of children from their parents - that has become permanent separation for hundreds of kids and parents - was the most inhumane and indefensible period of Trump's Presidency. It's nice to see the Biden administration waste zero time and devote resources to do what it can to reunite parents with their kids. In a sane and just world these parents should be granted a temporary allowance to come and stay in America to be reunited with their kids while the government provides a pathway to stay here on a more permanent basis. There needs to be some form or element of compensation for the horrors inflicted upon both the kids and parents.

  27. The things that Republican politicians and conservative commentators oppose in the bill are not things that Republican citizens on the ground actually care about. They might agree that this feature or that feature is stupid, but it's very hard to sell your party when it's the one on record voting against free money for everyone. In light of this, it's actually interesting that the GOP still has so much support. Their support is so much founded upon the things they oppose rather than the things they stand for. Republicans might want a $15 minimum wage...but you know what they want even more? To "own the libz." And that decides their vote. It's really sad.

  30. Hopefully I never have to put my mum or stepdad in a nursing home but if I do I hope their carers are good honourable folks like yourself. The coworkers you're describing sound like horrible anti-social personalities tbh.

  31. OK this is more of a rant than anything else. I work at a nursing home as a housekeeper. I won't mention the name of the home because of HIPPA. What pisses me off more than anything is the general lack of regard some of the RN's and CNA's have towards our residents (ie patients) If you are going to go into a medical profession of any sorts, you should have empathy towards people who you swore to take care of. Don't bitch, moan and complain about people who are dependent on you. Don't be mean, aggressive, and talk shit about them behind their backs. An example. There is a patient up there who I'm very fond of, like a mother figure. The woman came down with COVID and was away in a hospital for over 2 weeks. When she came back, I so wanted to give her a hug but I'm not allowed to touch any patients. The day she came back I told her I missed her she said she missed me too. I get goofy around her just so I can make her laugh too. Fast forward just one day. We had terrible ice storms here in VA. So I volunteered to stay just in case nobody else from housekeeping could make it. That night I was talking to the 2nd shift nurses and told them how happy I was that she had returned and they looked at me like I was crazy. I asked why? "She's a pain because she rings her call bell" and was calling her a big bed ridden buffalo butt. Yeah she deserves that type of treatment because the poor woman wants some water and tissues. I got pissed about that but since my department is subcontracted I'd get in trouble if I said anything or reported them. These triffling ass workers get the chance to leave. These residents don't have a choice. So my thing is if you hate the job that much that much, then find another profession and go the fuck on home. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to stay. OK, now let me put my soapbox away.

  33. The last time Fernando said some thing about GN'R releasing new music was when he claimed that a 30 year old demo was "new music. Unless it has to do with children's books, UYI sweaters or nite lights, I wouldn't put any stock into what Fernando has to say one way or the other.

  34. Yeah I’m surprised too. On Sunday night I’m going to see Midnight Oil play here at an outdoor venue that can hold around 10 000 people so the domestic market here in Australia is starting to ramp up a bit. But I’m surprised that no overseas bands are coming here sooner to get back into touring and making money.
