  1. Lol they can do a whole trilogy. Berlin 2018, Bridge School 2012, and then a re-release of Rio 2011

  2. They should rename it to NITL defects

  3. They could upload the whole Berlin 2018 show as the April Fools Joke of this year.

  4. My friend thought that Axl sounds like a strangled cat. I told him that might be offensive for strangled cats.

  6. My stance is quite logical: if the Selects were done thoroughly, i.e. a) with proper audio and video + cam mix, b) chosen sensitively, meaning some 2016 footage, where the whole thing was new, the band was on fire, and Axl could sing… then I’d be all for it, obviously. What we’ve actually gotten only showed us once again the incompetence of the PR team. I doubt the musicians themselves have even seen it. Any management that repeatedly releases something like this clearly don’t know what they’re doing. And they’re definitely not doing the band any favour – quite the contrary. And I refuse

  8. He was Slash’s security guard for years. Supposedly he looked a lot like Slash. He is mentioned in the book and Slash eventually had to fire him. He mentions something about how Ronnie crashed one of his cars and he was taking a few too many liberties with his job, something along those lines

  9. The selects were a great idea. The realization was terrible and a total fail. Not only half-arsed by the guys who are responsible for this but seemingly completely clueless.

  10. Tina Turner? I know she did some rock songs, but really? And Sabbath, Deep Purple, Motorhead and Van Halen all got kicked out in round 1! I know these things are bollocks for shits and giggles, but come on!?!

  11. In 2000, Dave Wild had the rare opportunity to interview Axl Rose and hear Chinese Democracy 8 years before it came out! The longtime journalist and TV producer joins us for a bevy of Axl stories and reflection. David Wild's Wild Axl Interview | Ep. 256 - YouTube David was great. If you have any specific questions for him, he'll be on again.

  13. I’m guessing that Slash and Duff are staying away from Axl as Axl has next to no desire to be around them outside of touring periodically anyway. The only way this relationship can remain on good terms if this is the case. I don’t foresee the possibility of Axl ever overcoming his hang ups to launch into full scale collaboration/recording mode. You can bet they are often walk on eggshells around Axl, keeping their mind on the money.

  16. I knew they has been popular for years, i not say that Queen is just popular just for it movie. Just it movie increase more the interest to great audience , cause it movie has many appeal to people that .isn't put many attention in Queen before it movie, youngs too.

  17. I just can't get on with Metallica. I "like" them and own most of their stuff (I prefer Load / Reload etc to the more thrashy my stuff), but I can't get through a song without imaging Lars Ulrich pulling stupid facial expressions.

  19. I believe they came second not just beecause of music but the 'effect' they had...they emanated something than cannot be put into words easily.

  20. Also they were getting great fan/critics reviews from the tours before the movie. They worked hard to up the brand. I suppose you could say gnr worked hard in that they played a lot of shows and showed up on time, still not quote the same thing though considering Queen sounded a million times tighter and were just as consisten on the first day as they were on the last.

  22. It's all down to Slash being back, had this been a vote in 2011 they'd have been out much earlier. Remember they were winning worst band, villain of the year ten years ago... bit of a change of fate to now be the 2nd best classic rock band.

  23. Gillan is the best fit for Deep Purple but you gotta love Burn, Might Just Take Your Life, You You Keep On Moving and stuff like that. Coverdale was pretty good imo. I agree about Sabbath although I own Heaven & Hell too. Agree about David Byron too.

  24. As a Denver Broncos fan- I can relate to a blow out loss in the Finals (see late 80s & ‘13)- but at least we got there! Lol. FWIW- two awesome finalists (Mercury/May best rock duo IMHO- and Axl/Slash on that list too)- but perhaps a little “recency bias” there between the Queen film a few years back, and NITL.

  25. If I had to choose one era only the Gillan era would have been my choice as well but I'm glad I don’t have to. Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath with Dio may be a bit short but it's an awesome record without filler. It just can't be ignored even by Ozzy fans

  26. Well yeah if it's a conspiracy the people involved are the people involved or they're tricked somehow. I don't know either way. But it seems more likely that it's a psyop than aliens are among us. I certainly wouldn't immediately take anyone like the Pentagon at their word. The whole X-Files angle they've carefully manufactured and given themselves over the years gives them a sort of aura of clout and mystique. Like "Oooh these men in black suits, sure they do terrible things but who knows what they know and might be protecting us from. Who knows what alien dangers could be out there

  27. I love Zep too but Deep Purple have so much more great music. If it was with Ian Gillan or with Coverdale and Hughes doesn't matter. They did great until Ritchie Blackmore left (Mark III)

  28. I tried so hard to like them but I just couldn't get over the poor mixes. There's fan shot phone videos that sounded better. And I 100% agree with the bolded statement. I really liked all of those, esp @Gibbo @FRANSAD and the Noise Pollution channel (sorry don't remember his username). Lot of good quality content on those channels back then. Yes 100%

  32. Just one thing I noticed. Some people took my comment yesterday for their own purpose. Let's see where things stand before making assumptions on if the concert will actually be postponed. I think there is now a slim possibility of it happening.

  33. Yeah. I know everyone's opinion is different but in my view Zep from Zep 1 through to Houses of the Holy were untouchable - they had the songs, the technical / musical ability and the stage presence.

  40. I saw the trailer. Glad all the same actors are back. Right now it'll be on HBO Max which annoys me because I don't have that channel. Probably wait for the dvd or blue ray. The new Wonder Woman movie is for sale on amazon.com I have no idea who the bad guy is, but I did like the first movie.

  41. Yeah as of right now he’s focused on his Army of the Dead franchise for Netflix. Plus, Affleck seems to be using the Flash film as an “exiting vehicle” for his incarnation of the character. Fisher has issues with the heads of WB (and they have issues with him). Cavill doesn’t really seem interested in returning. He skipped out on Shazam and wasn’t involved with any of the reshoots for ZSJL, so they had to use repurposed footage of him from MoS and BvS instead. The biggest roadblock of all tho is the fact that making new films on the scale of ZSJL would be quite expensive, and it’s not like the

  42. My thoughts exactly. I was notoriously obsessed with Guns N' Roses. I was the "Guns N' Roses guy" to everyone that knew me. Even before YouTube, Wikipedia, all the official biographies and all the interviews with the insiders like managers, etc. I was a walking GN'R encyclopedia. I fucking loved this band. The only thing that remains is my love for their music. I've lost so much respect it makes me sad. And I just dont give a fuck anymore. I don't expect anything. I don't demand anything.

  43. Oh yeah, not having a go at you. Just his circumstance. True, maybe if he was a youtuber he'd have got one😄 but the reality is what it is. Slash and Duff are no better with info, it's just Richard has been talking shitbfor years and now he's fort knocks. It is a nice looking guitar, i'll give him that!
