  1. Now people can actually hear Sorum say how great he is at sex in audiophile quality.

  2. Almost every show since 2001? Bloody IEMs, never work properly for Axl...

  4. I basically started it, because I remembered "S.O.G." being in that guy's list - and I wanted to let Pele know that he's not the only one who has seen lists

  5. He has no choice really, pu$$y full of maggots doesn’t sound inviting....

  6. Everyone is expecting a single because we're all GN'R fans who have yet to learn their goddamn lesson haha

  7. Has anyone seen Pele and this "Key East" guy together? 😂

  8. I think I remember this S.O.G. listed there too, but I'm not sure. Also, don't you dare discredit @Blackstar. If there's one person here who knows about details and have an amazing memory, she's the one.

  9. I know I'm the vinyl guy and this might not mean a lot to others but the vinyl aspect meant a lot to me. The fact that they're aware of how backed up the pressing plants are, says a lot to me. That says to me that something is definitely in process for a release. Who knows.....this could all amount to nothing and many, many times it ends up that way in GN'R world. But that one aspect gave me a little more hope than usual.

  10. Sounds like someone reading posts here decided to create an account on Hoffman forums and post made up stuff lol.

  11. I have never read any of his posts before, but it sure is hard to understand what he is saying now. As for his claim that the best songs were released in 2008. I disagree. In my opinion Atlas, Perhaps, Eye, State of Grace, Eye and Quick Song with vocals ++ would easily replace some of the weaker songs on CD. He is of course allowed his own opinion on this, but I am with Axl that the intention was a double record and that good songs would be saved for the follow-up

  12. You know what would confirm that Absurd means an album is coming? Announcing an album is coming. Crazy right?

  13. True that. But he posted into the litho thread and now there's a thread about the thread talking about what was actually said (or not) and whether it was about Hardskool or the signature. Or promo. Or something. Absurd, really.

  14. My point is that as long as people don't choose to not attend shows because of his voice, then he doesn't need to do anything. If people attending are happy, then all is good. And I also disagree with your suggestion that hardcore fans are more lenient when it comes to Axl's voice than casuals, I am sure it is the opposite. Casuals don't care to the same extent about "rasp" and how he sings the break in YCBM. It is us hardcore fans who tend to obsess over such details.

  15. I think it also comes down to Ultra Critical Forum Fan Vs Casual Fan Here's an example: In Detroit this year, I had my UCFF ears on. So even with the PA and atmosphere causing Axl to sound better in person then on video, I was sitting there doing my usual judgment. During every single song, my mind was going "Oof, Mickey there...Ooo, that line was decent....OH NO, that line sounded like shit....Hmm, not bad on that bridge...Oh man, all Mickey on this song" and so on. About 3/4 through the show, I asked the very casual fans I was with what they thought of the show. Each of them replied with a variation of "AXL SOUNDS AWESOME. I CAN'T BELIEVE HE SOUNDS SO GOOD!" Two of the casual fans I was with are professional concert sound guys who work for Live Nation. They mix and do lighting for 3 - 5 shows every week. So while they're very casual GN'R fans, they hear tons of live shows. Am I saying Axl sounds good? No. However, I'm saying his vocals are a much bigger deal to all of us than the casual fan.

  19. Seems suspicious to me aswell that that person is obviously aware of this forum but doesn't post here, yet posts that there, today. How is that credible info? Someone wrote a nice little story IMO lol Your guessing of the tracklist is worthless, as good as anyones guess, too much time has passed that we have no idea about. Did it ever come to your mind to compare how much information we have compared to how much time 15 YEARS is? I'm 27 and I feel like that's almost my entire life, yet you believe Axl couldn't have taken a single day during that time to record vocals for Oklahoma? Starting from 2006, people have been born and are 15 year olds now while it takes maybe what, one or two days to finish vocals for a song? Axl could have written all the lyrics to Oklahoma one night in 2014 and went in the studio the next day and recorded them. You and me have no idea. How would we know? Tell me how is it feasible to hold onto your prediction, when all it would take to ruin it is 1 single day of work in the studio on an instrumental and finish vocals? I don't see how you could ever account for that. And to even add further to that, we have no idea which songs Slash and Duff choose to work on either. At this point, it's pretty useless to assume anything other than any of the leaked songs can be on the next album.

  20. I have seen more songlists from you this last week than I did that time I read every single track on Buckethead's Pikes albums

  23. We have: Allegedly a new album was being finished in 2014/2015, pre reunion. Confirmed by Axl it was planned in 2014, and mentioned by reputable sources that there was work in 2015, but the lineup changes really threw Axl and the plans off. Axl had shown Slash/Duff the CDII material, confirmed in 2016. Slash confirming there is work being done on a new record. Fortus as well but his words mean significantly less. Beta saying "this song will be on the CD" Fernando confirming there's vinyl along the way. Hinted towards a HS single, video, but is not confirmed that's what he was referring to exactly. Susan, who leaked the reunion, says new music is coming Absurd was the first track of new music since 2008. Hard School was potentially planned for the 2020 shows but covid possibly made them delay everything until this tour. With any other band, this is more than confirmed to be a new release by the end of the year. Of course, this is GnR. Anything could happen. This could all mean nothing. Deep down I think most of us are accepting the possibility of nothing major coming. I will say, whats different about Guns from 97-2014 is that Slash and Duff have a say again in GnR. They like the idea of releasing new music. They might not want to sit around forever and could be nudging Axl. Yes they tourned for years without new music already, I get that argument. But the fact Slash/Duff are back is what convinces me something with finally materialize.

  24. I don't understand why people even give this guy a time of day? It would be a really powerful statement if the entire GN'R community just ignored the fuck out of him. I know it will never happen but it'd be cool. As you were.

  25. For a lot of people it's really just a night out. Listen to a few famous songs, have a few beers with friends and family, then go home. Good night.

  26. Cool👍 don't believe it. I see no other reason why gnr would release Absurd other than a new album is imminent. If you can give me a better explanation for why they'd release THAT song now and not have an album ready then I'll join you in being jaded as fuck. And it's not like I'm some spring of optimism when it comes to gnr, but it's clear as day that they are preparing for an album release. How are people still fighting this?🤣 I guess this guy thinks Fernando just came here to make fun of us and tease us about new music. I think he came here because there's something he can say because it's in motion and even though it doesn't always seem like it GNR would like to be on good terms with the biggest gnr forum on the interwebs

  27. He gave us as much information that he could, at the moment... He confirmed that physical releases is on their way (including Hardschool) and thats something! There is a lot of "whiny bitches" around here Crossing fingers for friday!

  28. As long as the actual, attending crowd loves the gig they're at and the whole band gives their 100% what more can you ask?

  29. Really? There will be new album -> We`ve heard that from various sources, even Slash, and, recently, from Beta`s instagram. There will be a video -> like SOYL or Absurd videos? There`s possibly going to be interviews -> Hahaha, ok. Man, Fernando just dropped by and give us pieces of information that we already know and people are freaking like he did something significant. It`s the same bullshit over the years.

  31. Axl and the whole band looked good and they were on fire all night until Axl had problems with his IEM or something during Madagascar. He told the band to wrap it up with Paradise City at that point. I guess we only missed out on the Seeker and maybe Don’t Cry? Doesn’t matter though, it was a great show even with Axl’s voice issues. You can tell he’s trying his best. And Absurd is actually a lot of fun live! Repeating lyrics is lazy and all, but it got a good reaction from the crowd.

  36. You are missing indeed. - It's probably not the same person. It could be you. - Even if that was true, he clearly didn't mention every single track, but only the ones he knew from memory. The list wasn't posted again.

  37. I hope the last GNR album wouldn't be Chinese II . Two or three leftovers are ok . No more please! We have Slash and Duff back. They can release good proper GUNS N ROSES songs

  39. I can't believe they aren't playing Bad Obsession. It's a great song a "deep cut" maybe and totally works vocally for Axl. He could entirely sing it with his low voice just like the album. And they used to play it a lot back then. I just don't get it

  40. If you read the thread I linked to, you saw that we discussed that list in real time. I don't even know if the guy was legit and the list was real, but it was there and I remember very well that "S.O.G" was in it. But, as always, you ignore all logic when something questions your preconceived notions.

  42. It's all about the level at which the bar is set individually. Like some of you are saying, we've gotten used to certain... shifts over time. But play a 2021 footage to someone who last heard Axl around 2010 or even 2016… Again, he needs to acknowledge this and adjust the playlist. Some of you suggest tuning down or whatever, but one doesn’t simply… tune down. Even if they did it, something like a half-tone down wouldn’t help him anyway, considering the midrange is gone. What he could do though – beside dropping Better and the likes – is something similar to what he did in You’re Crazy at one of the recent gigs. He used the low voice, then went up but switched back to low at a certain point where normally the high voice (originally rasp, now clean falsetto) would have been. Which sounded ok, no problem with that. The problem is, he can’t do this in songs like SCOM, and like I said, tuning down wouldn’t help. So they only should play the necessary few songs like this one and start alternating and successively phasing out some of the most challenging songs that don’t need to be played (and play them rarely, as a surprise – another advantage of this). WTTJ, SCOM, PC – always should be played. The utmost staples. NR, KOHD – will always be played whether we like it or not. ISE, Mr. B – will always be played, but these ones are the least problematic ANYTHING from the rest can get alternated. Yes, that includes RQ, YCBM etc. For example, they alternated YCBM with My Michelle in 93 (see Saskatoon), and I don’t remember any articles about how the band lost fans over this change. Same applies to the rest. The trouble is, we are used to the stale playlists and think 80% needs to be played, while that’s just not true. Many bands play like 2 or 3 songs from the back catalogue and the rest has been being added throughout years up to a moment where these new tunes became staples. Guns don’t have that many songs, but since we’re talking about less than half of the concert (there are also covers, jams), I say it’s pretty feasible. I absolutely can do without them butchering YCBM every night. We're talking about just a few songs after all. The crucial step is breaking the staleness and ending the ever-running NITL routine performed for the casuals. End of message.

  44. Tonight was my 5th Guns show, & my Dad’s 7th. I thought they were phenomenal tonight. i Keep up with all of the shows, but being in the room Axl sounded way fucking better. Slash played his ass off tonight as well. There were way fewer weak moments than any other time i’ve seen them. Lots of rasp tonight.
