He just mailed me: "Yes, no, I mean, maybe, probably, theoretically, we’ll see, haven’t talked about it, not sure yet, absolutely, you betcha, huh, I mean who knows these days, right, not sure, prolly but what with what’s happening in the world right now, possibly, perchance, I guess, and above all, most definitely perhaps."

  3. “Rasp”. No other singer in history is scrutinised solely on how much “rasp” they sang with as Axl is. People say things like, “a lot of rasp on Night train tonight…” It’s something unique to a GNR forum!

  4. "some fuckhead from Iowa" * * ....You know, I don’t have anything necessarily against some of the bootlegs, and photos, and tapes, and all this kind of deal. But the people that are bitching about, “The setlist, is that the same setlist?” and you have some fuckhead from Iowa that doesn’t even go to a show, I don’t care about them. I don’t do one song for them, not one note, not one goddamn thing. They can bitch forever [...] (Axl, Puerto Rico, Oct. 29, 2006)

  6. Because he can’t play the Appetite songs as well as Steven, so they are trying to shield the audience and the other original band members as best they can?

  7. According to a source who knows a person that is reported to have a friend who heard an unsubstantiated rumor from an former business associate in the music industry who has given the impression that the story was obtained from an unidentified individual who apparently claims to have a distant relative who was given information that originated from an anonymous third-party who once worked with the band.

You don't know jack fucking shit you fucking ignorant, know it all, fucking deluded, misguided, self important, self righteous, pious, small minded, clueless, loud mouthed, arrogant cunt." "Rad" "Lit" "I said honey we know the names, because you.... knees!!!" oh and of course... "We don’t want them to see the same show twice. That’s really important to us."

  11. 😂.....or, more likely, there's zero point in them addressing a well circulated, ages old picture of a track list. If they were going to address that tracklist, they would have done it 10 years ago when it started circulating as opposed to now when it's being presented as new insider information

  15. There's plenty of variants. Though, if you look at the data, delta has the Most prevalence, even in countries with "newer" variants, basically because it's the Most contagious variant. Every virus mutates endlessly. Do you follow "chise" on Twitter? There's loads of sensible scientists and other medical experts using twitter that sees and explains everything in a rational manner. I can give you some links that I can guarantee Will calm your nerves about all this, if you're up for it?

  21. Anyone remember when we were thinking Axl/DC into GNR would be a cool idea? Nowadays you’d be charged for attempted murder of Axl.

  22. One time Fernando lied to me twice outside of the Brooklyn Bowl show. Am not a fan. I have barely read what he came here to say because I'm sure it's not that specific and even if it were it probably won't happen anyway.

  27. Do what you want, just please don't associate my website with you. This isn't a case of you using a vague phrase or generic word like "screwdriver" or "Franklin" as your username - If you do a google search for Lithorati, there's less then two pages of results and they all have something to do with my website. If you sell something using that username, it's not unreasonable for people to think it's me - which is unfair on me since I have nothing to do with it.

  31. Your Guns show was half a decade ago though... Guarantee the show would have been fresh to you and you would have had a blast.. I did the Black Crowes and Guns this summer.. The Crowes were real good but there wasn't even a comparison.. Guns put on 10 times the show..

  32. 400 bucks face value is obscene! Absolutely crazy, I never have shelled out that much for one ticket, not even for the Stones when I saw them lol. For that price Axl better have his 2010 voice back let alone his 2016 voice

  33. I understand and it does feel like that sometimes. But atrocities, war, disease, and extreme weather conditions have occurred since the beginning of time. Just remember, it's nothing new. I'm sure a lot of people thought it was the end during the Plague, World Wars, or the holocaust.

  34. from a yt comment (you can serach it for the tittle) Ok so to explain what happened in this performance. So right in the beginning something goes wrong with everyones ear mix (this is that piece that goes in the ear to keep the temp and so they can communicate with each other). Because of this the drummer is playing the song a little bit faster than he should, but may not realize. Then Robin Finks lead guitars volume was never adjusted by the sound engineer, they kept it the same from the previous song, thats why it sounds louder. Axl realizes this and tries to talk to either Robin or the mix engineer but then realizes that his ear mix cable has come off and can't talk to anyone or hear the tempo timer. 1:18 he shows the ear mix cable to the engineering assistant but he doesn't go for some reason, then Axl gets frustrated and motions him to get to him and plug it back in. You can see Axl focusing real hard to maintain in key and pitch and he does so nearly flawlessly. At 2:05 Axl's microphone volume is too low so he increases it however it does nothing. 2:24 Meanwhile, Robin's lead guitar volume is so low that you can barely hear it. At 2:27 Axl motions to the sound engineer or assistant engineer to lower volume of the entire band. For some reason Robins guitar gets max volume and Axl motions the sound engineer to stop adjusting the volume, hence he says "ok, nervermind". The entire band realized that the solo was not going to play and they all skipped it without skipping a beat. This to me shows how well the band is together. 2:58 Axl walks off to talk to the engineer, I can only imagine what he told him. Meanwhile Robins guitar volume still has issues but is better. The bands volume is a lot more stable now that Axl went back there. At 4:01 you can see him still trying to mix his microphones volume and he starts to sound off key. 4:45 from here to the end is starts to sing flat. 5:06 you can see his frustration.

  37. If you think $6000 for two concerts is a fair price, go for it. I could compare concert tickets to a million things- but that argument is null and void. A sports car or a phone costing more is pretty much irrelevent to a concert ticket. I'd say you might be slightly out of touch with reality if you think many people can drop $6000 on two concerts though, no matter what their 'priorities' are. Many people couldn't possibly justify such an amount on a leisure activity. Great for you that you can, but that doesn't make it any less of an obscene price. It's rather arrogant to assume because you can dedicate that amount of money to a trivial activity that others can, or shouldn't see it as an obscene price. Most people would clearly agree with me too- hence ticket prices being cut significantly and freebies given out in casinos and public places. Enjoy the shows. Don't forget to shake your jewelry! Edit: I see you're new to the forum, yet your posts all seem, ummm, rather combative.....
