I prefer the live version over the leak. The instruments sound more dynamic/vivid and Axl ads some spontaneous grit where there is none in the studio version.
I was there. I've seen the re-united version of the band 8 times, and this show was by far the best. Axl's performance was very physical, and the people around me were floored by Slash (also literally since we were on the floor). Rather than a collection of individuals, the band is truly a band at this point.
Oh My Zeus?
On a more serious note, I think Oh My God is a brilliant song (especially from a lyrics standpoint), but it has a terrible, terrible, terrible mix. For selfish reasons, I'd love another release of it.
If reports are accurate, they sold 12,000-17,000 more tickets than the Enterprise Center can hold. Either, they continue the show at Busch Stadium, or they'll play the Enterprise Center on two separate dates (doubtful).
No one is entitled to that information. Postponing a show of this magnitude is a costly endeavor—a decision not made lightly. While a band member's personal issue is the cause of this situation, the band does not need to give specific medical details to the public. You are wrong.
