I would have done that, however I was so greatly offended at the OG price point I opted not to buy it… ever.

I rarely take things personal. But $1,000? Guns has been my favorite band since 1990. AFD has been a favorite record of mine since then. In the 90s I purchased AFD on cassette, and both UYI on compact disk. They’ve been a big part of my childhood, teenage years and adult life. Got so excited hearing about a boxset, then they priced me out. By a lot. I make a good living, but FFS!

I totally hear ya and back your choice not to buy it. For me, I ended up getting it for $500, tax & shipping included. And the site that I bought it from thew in a turntable that normally costs $300 on its own.

So my thinking was "ok, I can give the turntabke to my friend" (which I did) "and still get the set for the price it should've been in the first place". So those two things together is why I ended up pulling the trigger on L&L.

I'll buy the vinyl UYI set only if/when I get that same kind of deal.

Dropping before it's released is a good sign.

Under $100 for the CD set is my price. Might have to wait a few months, but as they've made it so underwhelming I'm in no rush!

That's the best way to go. Stream whatever available at the time of release for free. Then buy the physical sets when they drop to the price they should've been in the first place.

I did that with Locked & Loaded set and get a way better deal then I ever imagined. I'll be doing that again with this set too.

They'll keep dropping in price. Anyone who waits to buy until  2 -  3 months after release is going to be very happy they did.

I'm guessing the vinyl will drop to $250 - $300 at some point and the super deluxe will end up around $99 or so.

I got out of collecting vinyl earlier this year, but assuming the set drops to $250 eventually, I'll probably own it just to own it.

  4. Outside of watching WrestleMania ever year, I haven't watched any wrestling product in quite some time.

Last night, we happened to be home so I threw Extreme Rules on as it was started. I ended up being really entertained! I will most likely watch Raw tomorrow for the first time in ages because I liked Extreme Rules so much.
