Do we think Axl would ever come out and say this. JBJ has admitted he couldn't sing anymore and also the reason for it, he's now had this drastic surgery to try to get back to his best and if it doesnt work, he won't fleece the fans with him not being able to sing. Should Axl try something similar 

ps. please no one jump in and say Axls voice is fine he sounds great blah blah, it's shot to pieces unless singing baritone. obv age plays a part but if he could get back to 2010 levels that would be incredible, so hopefully he does acknowledge the issue and then try to fix it, especially with GnR talking at least 12-18 months off. what better time?

Saw that interview a day ago and I think it was very transparent from JBJ to talk about that. Of course I think about Axl doing something like that (vocal surgery).

but, I don’t believe the “I won’t tour anymore if my voice isn’t back” cause, in the same interview, he said that he’s been dealing with vocal issues for almost 10 years. 

Great show at Rio, but Myles is fucking dead onstage.

If he does have this book, it doesn't mean anything. You have to know what's written about you and know who you want to see again, or not. Internet is great for that. People share so much shit and write so much nonsense, it's easier to know who your true friends are than before the internet & social medias.

Axl is a private man, and a very intelligent person. I'm sure he's been very hurt by a lot of nonsense people have written about him. This book may just show that, that he knows what's written about him.

Then again, he clearly is someone who can forgive. It's not been said enough, but he has this ability. I can't forgive some people. Maybe it comes with age and wisdom.

I've read so much shit about Axl on this board too these last few months, with hearsays from 30 years ago. Didn't reply but I found a lot of comments so cheap, mean and deluded.

Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone on this board and to Axl especially. The Paris show really was an important night to me, under the circumstances. Lost my dad on November 2, it's something you can never really recover from I'm afraid. I'm happy Axl goes on with his music & vision, it's one of the rare few things I still enjoy very much. It'd be cool if we just talked about the music and the band, and not the personal, cheap stuff, hearsays and so on. Fuck that.

If you compare live recordings from any band now with the same band playing 30 years before, its obviously different.

Axl pushed a little harder than 2023 standards in November Rain (nothing very different, but it was the best version IMO)

Time to get a doctor/vocal teacher and look seriously for his mid-range. His low and high ranges are almost intact, but his mid-range is completly shot.

My biggest fear was that Axl couldn't sing the raspier parts of The General and Monster and he sounded pretty decent.
Still needs to works on the verses, but he'll keeeps improving, for sure.

IMO, Axl was a bit too nasal in Yesterdays. But, overall, it was a good rendition.

I've been a GN'R fan since Rock in Rio 2001. It's almost 22 years and that delay was the most bizarre thing i've seen in all those years.

His voice was really okay at this show for 2021-2023 level.
