Usually I think people are overreacting about Axl vocals when I see a lot of good feedback, but yes, his Madagascar performance in this show is amazing.

He looked heavier in 2019/2020 than in 2010-2014.

Sorry, but i’ve been around for over 25 years. We cannot say his voice is not coming back. Are we considering his Chinese democracy chorus voice “Baritone”?

One of the biggest problems nowadays is thinking that the world is binary. Nobody here is defending falsetto or Mickey just because doesn’t like the Baritone voice. I prefer much more Axl working in his medium register, taking a break, or even retiring, than singing GN’R catalog in Baritone voice.

In my opinion, Mickey does not sound good, but full baritone kills the dynamics of how Guns N’ Roses songs were composed and meant to be sung. It’s like putting Eddie Vedder (and I love PJ) to sing GN’R or playing guitar without Overdrive pedal

Just listened to the “new” perhaps chorus and even that I didn’t have any problem with the way Axl sang in the first shows, I think it works better this way

I think the chorus is one of the hardest and has no space to breath properly. And Axl almost nailed it live. But I agree that the verses are “easy” and he was changing voices during the live show. A Rehearsal would fix that.

Nothing against Frank at all, but if he is not good enough for studio recording sessions, I’d rather Brain to come back.
