I don’t get the delay thing from GNR side because, as we already know from the last 20 years, they won’t do anything to promote it. it’s not necessary to be a rocket scientist to release old songs with zero promotion.

Didn’t find the full interview, but there’s a bit here: The talented guitarist Richard Fortus joined Guns N’ Roses early in 2002 after guitarist Paul Tobias left the band. The iconic frontman of the band Axl Rose previously praised Fortus’ work by stating: “He’s an amazing lead player and very technically skilled. He really likes the pocket that Brain sets and the two of them click with Tommy so we finally have the real deal rhythm section, as Richard is a proven professional. Basically, Richard’s the guy that we always were looking for.”

When Richard joined the band in 2002, I think Axl gave an interview stating that Richard liked to play the Izzy gig.

I have no clue about Axl voice. He sounded great at the last shows in 2021 and was sounding ok until London 2022. Never say never, but i think his voice won’t improve anymore on this tour leg.
