this is the lamest PR for any concert ever.
Duff MCcagen, song called Do not cry... Guess if they will play new songs
The band got an offer, they accepted for good money and they will play a regular set. They don't give a flying fuck and most probably they have no clue of Soccer WC, as is case with most ppl in the US.
The original article does not say that.
All the names are spelled properly.
It's Google Translate that can't spell shit. -

Probably not newsworthy to the die hard fans like us who visit the forums.
It's a fancy article just to say they are playing the same weekend as the world cup final in Moscow.
Yeah, it's just a regular press release to promote one event via another one and appeal to soccer fans too. I'd be surprised if they didn't mention 2018 WC as it is a major event.
However, whoever wrote this article must have done some research online . That's for sure.17 hours ago, double talkin jive mfkr said:i will be there ha

Looking forward to losing my shit with the opening chords of whatever song they choose as an opener in Moscow (perhaps Tallinn as well).

Rose and his bandmates have also been criticised by their peers for refusing to boycott Israel on their ongoing world tour. Stars like Roger Waters and Sonic Youth founder Thurston Moore have called on musicians to stay away from the country until leaders make peace with their Palestinian neighbours.
Oh really? Why not, indeed? Fuck the fans! Those goddamned political leaders are the only ones who matter. We'll sure show them!
...Fucking demented old farts.- 1

While I was not able to make it to the gig for a number of reasons, my buddy who's never been a fan of the band went to see them from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Well, GN'R got another neophyte last night. He's amazed, to say the least.- 1

It's a good song.
Needs more aggressive and powerful vocal delivery. -
I think that it's a great fuck-you song. And the fact that Axl played rhythm guitars on it only adds to the kick-ass mood that it conveys. His parts are simple, but they're just what the song needed.

Never heard of this band until now, thanks for sharing coz I kinda dig her voice and the song.
Agree on the subtle similarity... funny thing too, at the end of the video it gave credit to "Goin' Down Inc"... another coincidence? Similar name to Tommy's Going Down with Axl's voice on it?
Goin' Down Inc. is called after the song from the first album by The Pretty Reckless released in 2011 and conceived around 2009.
So, no, it has no connection with Tommy's song.
As for the original post, being a huge fan of both bands, I don't find any similarities between two songs, except for the title. Yeah, it sounds more like a tribute to Motorhead.
If anything, I find the video similar to Pantera's videos, including 5 Minutes Alone. -

I think its depends on your definition of broke. There is you and me broke and then there is rockstar broke. I'd wager they are entirely different things.

Axl is awesome.
Whatever you do, there're always people who hate it and people who love it. It's all about bitching.
But he delivers. And that's all that matters.- 1

No dates in Russia? My life's complete now.

The part from "Where do we go now..." and on sounds quite good. It's my favourite part of the song so it's all good.

it's a real letdown. I hope it's not true, what's the point of travel alone while the rest of the band travels together? Maybe it's still the influence of TB?
What's so wrong with traveling apart from the band?
Absurd
