Shacklers for me by a country by god mile. That one's always been my favorite live cut off CD. A different tone, a bit heavier, more Axl lower register singing than most CD songs so he could actually pull off the short raspy bursts, and would love to hear Slash rip through some of those heavier solos.

This. Hardcores know Izzy and Steven. I'm not sure Duff is even that much in the mainstream eye. The feud was Axl and Slash, that's the reunion everyone wanted, they got it, and the bloom is now off the rose. Maybe a great new record could goose sales a bit? But mostly I think they need to just get out of stadiums, back into arenas, lower their ticket prices, and accept their status as a touring oldies act.

I don't think you get "relegated" to the position you've always held...

I skipped this show because I had Bruce tickets last night. Bruce cancelled, GNR released new music, and we truly live in bizarrro world.

"Soon," in fact, was not the word.

Soon. Now we believe even more. I love GNR. The only band in the world where fans need to be in on this CSI nonsense to figure out if anything is happening. And occasionally they're right, which just makes it all so much worse!

If tickets are selling badly, it's a desperation move that they go to quite regularly. I got tickets in the Nightrain presale for MetLife 2 on the first leg because of how quickly the first show sold out. Big mistake. Ended up paying as much to sit in the third deck as I could have if I had waited until the last minute and bought in the lower bowl. Shame on me.

Seeing Axl and Slash together again in 2016 was a thrill, but I actually think the UCAP show I saw in 2012 was better.

Must be one of those Mandela Effect things. I distinctly remember that he and his partner split sometime around 2010 or 2011 and he and Kat got involved shortly after. Could have sworn there were extremely couply pics in both of their social media accounts. Either they wiped it all very effectively or I’m just wrong. 😂

Still perfecting his super funky beats for Silworms. All hail the mighty mothergoose! Pretty sure Kat and Fortus broke up, so I expect being around the band on the road wouldn't bee too much fun for her these days.

My local indie record shop went out of business last summer. I still haven't recovered. We're just goddamned dinosaurs.

I've been getting really into Ghost lately (they go by Ghost BC in the states for some stupid legal reason). They're amazing. They basically goof the stereotype that metal is satanist and evil. Their lead singer, Papa Emeritus II, wears a black cardinal get-up and paints his face as a skeleton. The rest of the band are "nameless ghouls," all of whom wear masks and friars' robes that hide their faces. Their songs are also super Satan-y, but they openly acknowledge that it's all a ruse.
