  1. No, and it won’t sound any better.  This is the Guns n Roses lineup now & it’s a good one.

I liked every lineup but I prefer 4tus, Reese, and Dizzy in the GnR lineup.  I do miss Izzy and liked Adler’s sound, but Adler is a fool n a tool and doesn’t deserve to be in the band and I don’t want him in there.

Loved Izzy but 4tus has been a better fit since the later 2000s since not much writing and he’s a better live performer than Izz.

The only roster members I didn’t really enjoy seeing in the band were Pittman, Tobias, Gilby, Sorum, Freese.  Yeah, I liked seeing Ashba in the band more than them lol.

And I don’t join the trend of criticizing Frank.  He’s fine.  Brain was the only impressive drummer but they were all good.

Side note:  i genuinely liked the last Motorhead lineup the best.  Rush could never be a band without Geddy, Alex, Neil.

  2. Last Guns show at Hershey was a dud.  I was on the floor towards the back so maybe that had something to do with it.  The first show they played there since beinng banned from Hershey stadium, 2016-17, that show was awesome…I was up close in the front oit for that one.  Hershey stadium is a very tough venue for the sound crew.  I did think the last Guns Hershey show opened a leg of the tour and it seemed like band and crew treated it as a rehearsal almost and just accepted that it wasn’t going to be a good show.

That’s a real insightful response. Instead of expressing yourself with emoji’s, maybe tell me why you think Axl is better. Link some videos where you think Axl is great. I’m open to discussion. You giving me nothing but face palms isn’t going to change my mind. Here's some video of Scott

Axl’s voice is one in a billion.  His singing capacity and range is one of the best ever.  Stage presence they’re both great.  Weiland was phenomenal but Axl Rose is, well, Axl fucking Rose.

Scott all the way. Axl ruins Slither by trying to be raspy in the chorus. Scott was true to the orignal on Its So Easy. And overall, Scott was a much better vocalist. He may not have had as wide of a range as Axl, but he was much more versatile. I like to call him a vocal chameleon. He could do the powerful hard rocking stuff and also sing ballads beautifully with a much cleaner toned voice. He was a much more diverse singer than Axl.

  5. Wow, how lame would I have been if I didn't enjoy all those Rush shows from '96 to 2015 if I thought Geddy Lee should sound identical to how he did when he was 24.  I'd have been a fucking fool.  I'm glad I didn't do that and haven't done that the last two times I saw awesome Guns n Roses shows along with this one on Sunday.  Great vocal performances everyone time I saw either band.

Crazy that a guy who's never seen and only features for all of 10-15 seconds before a single note is played is more revered and welcomed than the current drummer, 2nd guitarist and both keyboardists ;-D

Revisionism.  "I was happier back in those days so that was the right way - how it was then will make everything better now."

Huh? Newsted didn't imagine that he was given an ultimatum to choose between bands. That happened.

LOL at the pissed off and angry fanboys here turning to insults for Newsted.

Never liked Newsted. Has nothing to do with liking GnR.  Of how dysfunctional GnR was back then.  Seeing Newstead live, hearing his interviews, hearing his solo shit...all shit.

Newstead who does he play for now? HMMN - sounds like a guy who had his bass erased for in justice for all - He is so smart he must be in band huh? lol I seen you homie with OZZY AND ZAKK WYLDE - you couldnt keep up and they let it you  go from the gig- practice your bass not your mouth

This is exactly right.  I saw Ozzy with Trujillo a few times and then Ozzy with Newstead that one tour.  NOTICEABLE difference.  Trujillo is light years better than Newstead.  Oh, and hear Newsteads music?  That's why he had no input with Metallica.  That shit was garbage.  How much of a douche did he look like in that video from his last solo shit walking in the street power lipping to his songs.  This was a guy made from your local bar scene who got lucky being picked by two guys, Hetfield and Lars, who were fucked up at the time.  Trujillo is actually showcased quite a bit during Metallica's live shows and it sounded like he was more a part of this last album than Kirk was.  Fuck off Newstead.  He quit on his own solo band within a year.
