No, I've just seen the bootleg. I don't think this is necessarily about shows that you've personally been to, but I may be wrong.

There’s also the question of what "reaction" there was supposed to be, or more precisely, reaction to what. These were two songs that they started playing without any promotion whatsoever, unless you count the image videos. No interviews about it, no look behind the scenes, no info on the history, in-the-making process, proper band interviews, no nothing (because everything is super-secret), and especially no proper music videos for either of them. They just said a few words on the stage and started playing them. Plus considering Silkworms (yes, Silkworms) doesn’t really do anything for the fans of "real" GNR music, whatever that is, there’s no wonder the reception was lukewarm. All in all, typical conduct of GNR and their management team of the last 25+ years.

That’s just the way it is – sometimes it sucks, and the complaining is a part of it; but that doesn’t mean you’re supposed to quit and leave it for good, does it? And as long as it sucks, there will be negativity. People naturally vent, especially in company. But if you try focusing on something else, you’ll discover there’s also fun to be had. The Bundys had it, and so do we. Rant over, thanks to the lame-ass thread, I’m going home.

@allwaystired I don't have a stick up my butt, so yeah, I can totally endorse that this is all a bit crazy, including us here, no exceptions. Absurd in many ways.

I can’t really imagine this (and only know this show from a description), but considering Axl never does anything the normal way (like an interview, at last), there may be a slight chance of this happening. I’d still prefer a classic interview, but then again, as long as we get some new Axl appearance, who am I to say no.
