SOG is not General, but Billionaire might be an early version of the Genreal orchestration bit, seems very familiar in places

I am optimistic regarding a new album, even if I have been through all silent years and false hopes by different band members. But the originals are back and the wheels are rolling, even if its in a snails tempo

This is way overhyped! Sweet sounds of heaven is the best song by far here! And it is really good Much of the other tracks is messy with Micks vocals too high in the mix and seems to be too tiresome, also too glossy and much effects on the vocals. (I am now a bit afraid for the new Pearl Jam album early next year also produced by Andrew Watt) The next best song here is sung by Keith richards

For the general public the Stones record is of course a much bigger thing than a Guns n roses b-side, but not for me. It will be labeled as a leftover from "chinese sessions" and talked about a bit, but soon fade into obscurity.

A bit weird but some point to it. For myself I never have appreciated Rolling stones in a big way, they are certainly an important rock band to the history but always thought the Beatles was miles better. The same for GNR. For me personally I believe the General will have a bigger impact than any song on the new Stones LP, even though the latest single Sweet sounds of heaven is pretty nice. I think this is something the poster above also tries to say, but wants to exaggerate..
