  1. Let’s think for a moment:

Who could be the person interested in not having a live video on Youtube? I can only think of Axl. Any other guesses? It’s clear that Slash or Duff don’t give a shit. Although I think Axl is doing a good (sometimes great) job, we all know he’s not the 28 year old Axl that everyone loves.

Here’s what I think: Axl doesn’t want the videos on YT and TB is probably helping/covering for someone taking the videos down. TB cannot expose the real situation so they take the blame, fabs already hate them. At some point, Beta gets tired of the accusations and theories and makes a big scene. Sure she or Fernando don’t know how to handle stuff publicly, but they’re doing it because Axl wants them to do so. Why the hell would they do it for no reason, if Axl didn’t ask them?

    That’s what I think.

Edit to add that I completely understand the frustration, but comments trying to diminish her because she was his maid are completely low and unnecessary.

It seems so long ago when GNR came to Dallas. I know it was August and even though the new AT&T stadium is indoors now, it was still hot. Not to mention the traffic driving to Arlington from where I live. But it's so worth it when GNR hit the stage.

This stadium is so damn expensive. The tickets were of $250 and then parking was $60, which has since gone up to $100 or more and the food was off the charts. I guess someone has to pay for this new venue. lol

Going to see Post Malone on November 2 and parking was $100 and that was the far away lots. It's plain crazy. Tickets were about $160. It begins at 1:30, by the time Post comes out I will be out of my mind and probably high! lol

I saw the Rolling Stones at the cowboys stadium, it was amazing and beautiful in there. But the parking was very expensive, the traffic was a mess and also impossible to get an uber. As I was already foreseeing the situation, I booked a motel right in front of the stadium. Best thing I could have done!

In my top 100 worst lists of all time, this one is pretty high.

I believe this list would be pretty different now after those Queen and Elton John movies.

Probably. But it’s just a list with very subjective criteria, the writer is not only considering technique or range, whatever. People get so invested, that’s why they do it. And it’s even funnier when you think it’s a 10 year old list, Twitter is just amazing. Axl is probably checking his increased number of mentions like “oh no, someone killed me...again” 🤣

Someone just posted on Reddit that this was their first GNR concert and they had a blast. Also mentioned something about the speakers dying on KOHD but the crowd helped them finish the song 🥰

Yes, it also seems the band had a blast. Check Kat’s stories to see KOHD. Even Slash is interacting with the crowd.

This sucks! I tried looking up videos of their concert in Lincoln and at Exit 111 festival and there’s barely anything.

That’s just ridiculous. SOYL is my favorite this leg, especially because Axl and Slash are sharing the mic on the chorus. I can’t find any video.

I get what you're saying. Yeah. The "too big, dramatic and overproduced" thing to me is at its worst in This I Love.

In comparison to the grunge albums from the same era, the Illusions sound are way better to me. Dont mind the drums, but I hated the live sound of the band in the Illusions tour.

I HATE This I Love with all my heart. 😄

I hope for the next album Axl drops that obsession with the epic long dramatic songs.

I keep saying this, but very often you say exactly what I wanted to say but way better. For the most part anyways - I'm not so sure about Axl's intention back then. IMO, he wanted to be controversial and edgy for the sake of it because he felt like honoring the brand "the most dangerous band in the world".

By the way, I absolutely love the instrumental piece in OIAM. I love Izzy's crunchy guitar low in the mix against the accoustic. And Slash's solo is the best accoustic one I've ever heard from him. I even recorded and posted it the other day.

Thanks! After so many years of GNR debates, you become a lecturer 😊

Well it’s possible that he wanted to just make an impact, be outrageous. I’m VERY critical of Axl’s behavior, but from everything I’ve heard and read about him, my perception is that he never was a racist, homophobic, whatever, but someone with a lot of anger inside of him, so maybe that stuff sometimes would manifest in a wrong way. I don’t know, I’m just speculating.

I wish they would play an acoustic set, just for one show, to change things up a little bit like the old days.
