  1. Thing is though, it just sounds like he'd listened to it a couple of times and just threw something down. For a tune like Hard Skool I can see how that'd work but for something a bit more dramatic, you'd think he'd maybe work a bit harder to come up with something a bit more memorable. It's not like he was short of time.
  2. Wouldn't be surprised if they totally forgot or didn't even realise. Say the original release was planned for 11th August. The actual track will have been available somewhere for folk to download/stream as soon as it was "live" and the song was officially released. For whatever reason, they never put it out but maybe it automatically became available for the jukebox thing.
  3. Axl in the boozer, unaware of recent developments. Some mischief maker puts Perhaps on...
  4. See if it turns out to be something ludicrous... Frank pushed a button and deleted the "Mac Daddy" vocal stem by mistake. Axl has gone and recorded it again, of course with no intention of ever using it.
  5. Surely they have enough mutual acquaintances that he could have just contacted him directly. You don't have to do everything in the media.
  6. It sounded like a Floyd Rose for sure and it doesn't quite have the same tone density as one of his Les Pauls.
  7. Surely someone's not just nicked that from @Caedo and tried to pass it off as their own video...
  8. Was always talk that on the sessions for UYI that Slash really had to be pushed to come up with his best work. Wonder if that's still the case. He plays something then Axl just says "Nah that's shite. You can do better." Again though, it doesn't seem like he bothered on Hard Skool.
  9. Sounds like he's using the BC Rich for it.
  10. Maybe it's really Mr Hudson that's holding everything back Perhaps his studio contributions thus far have been distinctly uninspired sounding and that's the reason for the delay...
  11. Need to give folk a chance to get out of the place first. The traffic will be mental.
  12. Yeah it was a one off thing for something like that. Some place called L'Arc. Catcher sounds class.
  13. Patience is likely always going to be there but I reckon doing a few acoustic songs would work better in context than just doing one then straight back to electric. Obviously there's stuff from Lies and the acoustic stuff from the Illusions but it'd be interesting to hear them maybe rework some other material in that format. They did a really cool acoustic version of Catcher way back when BBF was in the band. I'm sure it was some random show in Paris. Would add a bit more variety hearing something a bit different.
  14. More folk should. If some gobshite is happy to write nonsense about you from behind the safety of their computer, how will they deal when you turn up in person for them to explain further. Jaz Coleman from Killing Joke did it too. Burst into the writers office, poured a load of worms on the guys desk and started spouting off in Latin at him. Would imagine his point was made.
