I remember the band didn't release the greatest hits, the record company did and the band sued them over it. 

It's got some interesting visuals but this should have been released when the song was.

These recent songs are all a product of the digital age, done in pro-tools, probably had the session captured at that rate. 

Not an audiophile forum, but, honestly, nothing we really need to worry about too much.  It's more for the folks making the music.

I see other bands with new songs with higher hz. Metallica for example. Weird. Oh well. 

why do they keep releasing their flac files at 48hz when the appetite flacs were 192?

Someone mentioned Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out,” but the lyrics are literally about school ending. “Hard Skool” has nothing to do with actual school.

I think it was because it had "school" in the title. I never would have tied the locker image with the storage locker. That's a bit of a stretch

There's a bit of a resurgence in physical media going on with various box sets and other releases happening.
