    I was just trying to show that I am in fact fair, and a fan of both men. I also feel they are both EQUALLY to blame for the demise of gnr. But this news, at least for me, shows that Slash is indeed two faced and is a much bigger part in this whole drama than he owns up to.

    Im a fan of both together. But Saul always was two faced. I think it's time to even the score here. Axl was taking the shit for so long and it's ridiculous. Besides that, i think primarily it's the LAWYERS fault. They are the ones screwing us at the end of the day. They don't give a shit about music/art, just want to milk the fucking money from 2 guys who haven't spoke in decades.

    An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind, or in this case a world without Guns n' Roses. Getting even, or revenge is NEVER okay. Us fans are the ones losing AGAIN, but this time it's Slash's fault, which appears VERY difficult for Slash supporters to admit to....

    I admit it's Slash's "fault", but I support him. Axl hates Slash, give him good reasons to hate him then. I think Slash tried to bury the hatchet a few times. After the no show to the HOF he realized that they'll never get together again, so no need to try to be nice anymore. Give Axl hell, Slash, hehe, I'll get some pop corn.

    This is the type of hypocracy that does't make sense to me. (I'm not saying you do these things, but rather Slash supporters in general). They will point out all of Axl's missteps, call him a dick, egomaniac, killed gnr, etc. But when Slash does something just as bad, "I'll get some pop corn". So when your guy is being a dick, and clearly one of the main reasons gnr is in the state it's in, it's funny. But when Axl does it, everyone calls him a douchebag and everything else under the sun.

    Meh. I care about music. Slash is making music quite frequently and I enjoy what he's doing. What happens behind the scene is not really my business. Axl could do the same but no, his band can't even get in the same room to write just one song, it's not Slash's fault if the current "GNR" is a clusterfuck. He blocked a DVD, big deal, just get your ass in a studio and record with your cover band instead of making DVDs no one cares about.

    Slash can be an asshole all he wants, I don't care, as long as he's releasing music.

    And it's good he commented. He needs to do that more. He needs to create some controversy or better yet, re introduce himself to something called competition.

    Except he's in no position to make fun of others, and the only bands he could compete with are maybe other GNR cover bands that play bars.

    Yeah, OK. Tell me what shows you've been to where the singer, has in your mind, outperformed Axl?

    I'm curious. Because I tried this experiment before.......and Axl came out on top.

    Yeah. If you want to compare Axl now to his best in the past, you can criticize, sure. But overall, Axl still kills everyone performance wise.

    When he was younger he could've said anything because he was a beast. Now he just moves akwardly on stage, falls on his face and sings like a disney cartoon. I just think he should look what his band has become before talking about other bands, especially good bands like the RHCP.

    I think there are a few reasons why they're not as popular as before. It's not the same band for starter. The original band was the perfect hard rock band, they had the look, the attitude, and most importantly the music was great.

    Maybe Axl thought he could reproduce the magic by assembling a band with random people. A great band has chemistry and it's not something you can provoke, it just happens. There was no chemistry with the new band, musically it didn't fit and their look didn't fit either.

    When Axl came back to the spotlight in 2002 almost everybody went "Wtf is this? Is this a circus?". It's like Axl was out of his mind. I mean who in their right mind would think that this freakshow would impress sane people?

    Another thing is Axl seemed to have forgotten who he is, I just don't understand why he can't realize that he sounds the best on rock songs, songs with 2 guitars, one bass. Just listen to You're Crazy live on TV in 1988 or 89, that's awesome. Him singning on 1000 layers of shit and synth is not awesome, it's just cringeworthy. I don't get it.

    As for CD, it just doesn't sound right. It's so apparent that the album was cutted and pasted, it doesn't sound organic and there are too many noises at the same time.

    Now the new incarnation, they're just average, Tommy is no Duff, Ashba is no Izzy and BBF is no Slash. They're just meh...

    Add to that that Axl can't sing like he used to and seems to have lost the fire.

    Un week end touristique à Dijon.

    Un week end par an il y a les journées du patrimoine. Tous les musées,les institutions et autres bâtiments anciens sont gratuits et visitables.

    Ça a l'air d'un bel endroit en tout cas.

    Oui c'est une jolie ville.

    Si un jour je vais en France je te demanderai conseils pour des bons endroits à visiter ^_^

    Non je vais jamais dans cette section.

    J'ai complété Zelda. La première fois ça m'avait pris 85h et là juste 58h... ça été plus vite que je pensais. Tant mieux dans un sens, je peux maintenant faire autres choses héhé.

    J'ai écouté Air à quelques reprises, au lieu de dire n'importe quoi je vais être franc, finalement je pense pas l'acheter... c'est pas mauvais du tout mais maintenant quand j'achète un cd faut que je l'aime vraiment et après l'avoir écouté en profondeur je pense que je vais laissé faire. La meilleure c'est la première que tu avais posté (qui est aussi la première de l'album). J'espère que j'ai pas l'air du gars qui n'importe quoi :wacko:

    Je ne suis pas la grande inquisitrice de la discographie, tu peux bien acheter/écouter ce que tu veux.

    Moi perso c'est assez rare que j'achète un album entier.

    Ben écoute tu t'améliores à Zelda, le prochain tu le feras en 40h ;)

    Mais je te remercie quand même parce qu'avec tes liens j'ai fait de belles "découvertes".

    J'ai 5 cd que je veux m'acheter, 1 de Tricky, 2 de Portishead et 2 de Bjork (elle je la connaissais déjà par contre mais je m'étais jamais arrêté à vraiment écouter sa musique).

    Moi je suis encore oldschool par rapport à ça, j'achète encore des cd assez régulièrement, j'aime bien voir ma collection de cd augmenter avec des bons albums.

    Tu achètes des mp3 sur itunes?

    Massive Attack, Radiohead et Moby, eux je connais, mais les autres non. J'ai déjà pensé acheter ce cd de Moby mais je l'ai jamais fait...

    J'ai bien 36 ans, je suis juste inculte :P

    Je n'écoute plus la radio non plus depuis quelques années mais y'a d'autres moyens de découvrir des artistes, comme traîner sur mygnr par exemple :P (je parle de moi).

    Je me rends compte que g assez peu de cd en fait. Vive youtube!

    Il va falloir que je me penche plus sur le topic de ce que les gens écoutent.
