I think we need to take a step back and focus on the contents of the legal filling.
Having read the legal filling, the core issues are copyright infringement under the Copyright Act and the other issue is under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act more specifically workplace sexual harassment.
There are a number of business entities listed along with an individual as defendants.
The Plaintiff is listed as an independent contractor, who at one point in time operated under a contract for services.
Under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act an independent contractor is protected under the act if the employeer, employees more than five employees.
The issues at hand are:
# Who owns the material (the photos) and was the Plaintiff fairly compensated for work completed under the terms of a written contract or by general understanding (verbal agreements).
# Did the employer provide a safe work environment under the terms of the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.
The issue was that Kat tried to or successfully copyrighted the photos with the Library of Congress, GNR sued her for that claming they own the rights as per their agreement, hence she cant file for copyright protection. She's saying she owns the copyright because management verbally told her she owns them and promised to give her credit, she also claims that she was legally under contract under very few periods of time, and finally the sexual harassment and poor work condition allegations.

The big mystery for me It Will be axl's reaction to this situation
We don't know all the details, anyone can sue anyone over anything. If she has proof of him sexually harrassing her I can see Axl taking her side and separating at least publicly from Fernando, but if Kat's lawsuit is just a reaction to the original claim by GNR then I see Axl supporting fernando and staying

Is there original agreement between Kat & GNR public now? I can't find it.
Also, people pleaseeee, when doing business in the USA, create an LLC. It will, somewhat, protect you from shit like this, There are exclusions of course.
-
Ok, so GNR did sue Kat first. First mistake was not to register an LLC for her business.
I hope that they find a resolution, and if the things she alleges about Fernando are real then I hope she gets justice.

Is loudwire right, GNR sued her back in Oct?

Sony ECM-909 > Denon DTR-80P > analog gen 1 > dED > dEQ CDR
i would say audio quality is okay like Wembley '91 audio bootleg from the Disc "Perfect Crime" (not the clean one from the distance "GNR Rock Wembley")
Maybe there is a full video bootleg from Orlando leaked soon. I don't think it's just a video with one track for the press or news like "Live And Let Die" or "Bad Obsession"I wouldn't get too excited for a full show, based on the user's other videos they look like they were part of some news production crew/tv station. All of the other videos are from events around Orlando and Atlanta and are news like. We'd need to contact them and find out.

Sorry for asking about Tokyo being on film, turned into an unexpected discussion. It was just a simple question, a yes or no answer would have been enough.

You cant tell the difference between video and film?
I could, but Tokyo was released 30 years ago on VHS. If it was shot on Film, then it would be possible to get not only the same Tokyo show, but all three at 4K HD.

Tokyo was not shot on film. It was shot by TV broadcast video camera by a Japanese television station. Since the third party already recorded it and paid for it, GNR just used their tapes for the video release.
This is why you will see a lot of bands/artist release shows that were broadcast from festivals or shows recorded by a TV station. The station or festival is paying for the recording so the band uses that footage.
Bruce did the same thing for his Live in Hyde Park release about a decade ago. The festival filmed the show and he released the whole thing in HD but the recording was paid for by a third party. Not Bruce himself.
Really? I thought Tokyo was shot on purpose for a home release by the band. Not TV station. AFAIK that show was never broadcasted in Japan TV like Argentina was.

So lots of talk on how Ritz '91 was shot on film and that's why it looks great, and I get it.. Was Tokyo '92 also shot on 35mm film? If that's the case then they probably have all three nights on film no?

IS Rocket Queen to Sail Away Sweet Sister fading out only on Spotify? Is there a song missing that was played in between those two?

It’s literally that.
People don’t seem to understand that this is just the new “official music video” for YCBM Live (as it says on their latest tweet).
It’s essentially the Terminator video, with remastered visuals and the clips of the movie removed so they don’t have to pay royalties or whatever. It’s supposed to replace that video.
They fucked up by marketing it as a “full live performance” though. But then again, the 15 second snippet was evident of what to expect.
Obviously the Blu-ray will be just the normal concert.
I wouldn't be so fast to say that "obviously" the full performance will be a normal concert. The teaser they posted yesterday said "the full performance coming tomorrow", this isn't close to a full performance.
They basically redid Its So Easy, Welcome To The Jungle (Live) and Dead Horse all over again. Four videos of the exact same thing

Agree with everyone else, cool footage but that was fucking stupid.. They advertised it as full performance. We already had the audio.. Hopefully this is just promotion for the Blu Ray. There is no way the whole Blu Ray can be like this.. Can it???
lol...hold fernando's beer

Another let down by Guns N Roses! What the hell were they thinking once again.. I want footage of the show and the song and not this miss match! Its also possible that they dont have the separate film tapes and they only have this mixed footage.
They have the full show (i hope) because The bonus disc is a Blu-ray Video of the complete Live In New York concert film presented in its entirety. We're in for a wild 2 hours if this isn't the case

?? how do you know that?
Have you seen them do anything different since Slash and Duff came back? So many missed opportunities, they played a small theater in new york for the AFD anniversary and no mention of it, they played their regular NITL tour set. You are dreaming if you think they are going to set up a full orchestra for one song.

Yea weird that no social mentioned on it so far, even their official site didn't get updated.
14 minutes ago, AtlasShrugged said:Strange that there’s been no mention on GN’R’s social media. What do we put that down to, incompetence?
Also on Apple Music in UK it says November 4 for release for UYI.
My two cents is there’s something else coming - getting all the tracks everyone else is getting here and I don’t use Spotify at all. Fingers crossed.

Not to be a party pooper. But are you all fucking serious? Live era 2 and everyone is making out this is the greatest thing ever. I've heard You could be mine played live. In person 12 times, on the japan dvd and on the appetite for democracy dvd and the proshots. Now im getting another version of it from 1992 and I'm supposed to be happy? How many more times do we need to hear that song? This better be in addition to NEW MUSIC or who gives a fuck? give me the general ffs.
This is the legacy, AFD and UYI tours are the holy grail of this band. Yes, we're excited.
