The speed of clicking the fast reply box seems to have a direct effect on focus. Clicking before all resources are fully loaded requires clicking again, in my environment.

One or 100 tries does not indicate no problem in software...

I am sure there is some event I am triggering prior to clicking fast reply causing issues

So I've just been able to replicate it actually setting focus to the text box. Yet it is not consistent. I still feel it's worth a suggestion to relook fast reply focus setting

Chrome, such features should be browser independent. In online based COTS you should never be suggested to use a certain browser. EVER.

When clicking the fast reply text box, your focus needs to be set to the text box. As it is right now, you have to double click. This is extremely annoying. IPB, please make it so when you click on the actual text box for fast reply, the flashing text input | bar is there and you can immediately begin typing.

I believe that had something to do with the hackers years ago. We lost posts during that time and while your profile shows less the count when you post is correct. Those clown brothers or whatever fucked that up.

Yeah but then what is the algorithm displaying the higher post count? Where does it get that number? It is increasing, so that correct number has to be somewhere. The pointer to the data could be moved to the correct spot now? or the table data from the correct cells, copied over the wrong?

We only lost 2 weeks worth of posts - it wasn't that.

I'm only guessing here Ron, but I'd say it has to do with old posts that get pruned periodically. The larger number is probably your real number.
