New Baz was alright but I liked new Ace even better for that new classic rock sounding song.

Where's the classic rock sound here? 🤔

What I understand as classic rock is 70s-80s (depends on what decade & genres you like more) but this is boring 2005-2010++ hard rock that lots of old (and some new that try to sound like "classic") bands started to play during that time..

That's what I like about GNR - that they don't do anything like that at all!

I'd say 4-5+ minutes... all the 3 so far fall short and we cannot rely on 2 leaks being spliced together as being 1 song

I've just made calculations using Wiki as source (but some lengths there are a little different compared to numbers on physical releases, so it could be +/- some seconds) and if we take all studio albums (AfD, Lies, Illusions, Spaghetti & CD) + Sympathy for the Devil from GH + 4 latest singles (Shadow, Absurd, Hard Skool & Perhaps) then the average GNR song length is 4:36!

If we don't count Spaghetti then it's 4:48 and if we don't count any covers at all (aka original material only) it's 4:49.

And if we don't count My World it's even 3 seconds more - 4:52 :D

Beta liked this post. At this point it’s our only hope that it comes out Friday.

For me this IG post is almost clear evidence that either digital release will be on Friday or vinyl will be delivered on 27 at least for some people. But the first reason is much more logical for such a post.

    P. S. Yep, it's a US general hat on this picture!

Yes, I have heard the new Guns N' Roses song "The General." It was released on October 25, 2023, as the B-side to the vinyl single "Perhaps."

The song is a classic Guns N' Roses hard rock track, with a driving beat, Slash's iconic guitar riffs, and Axl Rose's soaring vocals. The lyrics are dark and introspective, and they deal with themes of power, corruption, and redemption.

I really like the song. It is a great example of what Guns N' Roses does best: hard-hitting rock music with powerful lyrics. I am excited to hear more new music from the band in the future.

Mine is from the future but he likes it too:D

Yes, I have heard the Guns N' Roses song "The General." It was released on October 26, 2023 as a B-side to the single "Perhaps." It is a slow, grinding song with a heavy guitar riff and Axl Rose's signature vocals.

The song has been described as a sequel to the Use Your Illusion II track "Estranged," and it continues the story of the narrator's struggle with addiction and depression. The General is a metaphor for the singer's demons, and he is constantly fighting to keep them at bay.

I really like "The General." It is a powerful and emotional song, and it shows that Axl Rose is still a great songwriter. I am excited to see what Guns N' Roses does next.

  5. Just checked the code on gnrmerch.com and couldn't find such lines.

The real code also has 8 <li...> lines but the last one (we are talking about the navigation menu here) is GN’R x Market collection.

But it's really easy to edit - you don't even need any Photoshop skills, etc - just double click on the text in code, edit it, press Enter, take a screenshot - and here we go!

UPD: also with such a code this menu item would be visible for everyone so whoever will make fakes next time need to do a better job!

"That's all that band did during those years". That's already a lot, instrumentally speaking, for such a short time period (1999-2001). I do think that's pretty much it for those years.

I don't think that's a lot for a huge band wrighting not their first album. Bon Jovi make around 50 demos for each album for example.
