  1. Really looking forward to this album and I hope it doesn't disappoint.. The last thing Guns related that I could get into was World of Fire.. The CD leftovers, last two SMKC and Tenderness were all pretty terrible IMO.. Not even going to bother listening to t nheew Duff record.
  2. They are doing that right now actually. They are either playing Sandman or Puppets each night and not playing both.
  3. No doubt the show was good but I still feel shorted. I spent almost $400 a ticket for great seats. Part of the reason I justified that was because of their extra long sets which Fenway was robbed of twice in a row now. Last time was partly due to the weather but they could have also started earlier than they did. But yes, it was still an awesome show \m/
  4. The last two times they played Fenway, they barely played over 2 hours. I feel cheated.. Hopefully they don't play there any more.
  5. 100% agree. It looks pretty foolish at this point. I get it is part of his image but he could use it sparingly.
  6. Their drug addiction harmed their reputation? My memory isn't the best, but I don't remember them ever being any more popular than they were when they were all banged up.
  7. Slash and Myles joined Gov Mule for 7 songs last week for a Xmas Jam and it was pretty damn cool.. Not always the biggest Myles but I always feel he sounds better live and he sounds really good here along with Slash and the song selection was really cool. There is some good footage on youtube. I haven't viewed them all yet but plan on watching it all in chronological order soon. 8. It started with Absurd and hasn't stopped since... I would argue that it started with CD but we won't go there lol. But yeah, with the exception of maybe Perhaps.. These songs are pretty bad.
  9. Well this song sure is a steaming pile of shit.. It has zero elements of what made Guns N' Roses one of the greatest bands of all time. Perhaps was decent (no great) but this and the other two are fucking terrible.. Keep diminishing that legacy boys!
  10. Aside from maybe Perhaps I would throw all the "new" songs out the window. While overpriced I really like the UYI Vinyl Box Set. Also, nice to get official releases of things like the acoustic Jumpin Jack Flash and a few other extras from the Appetite Box set. Some cool versions of Move to the City.
  11. Judging from the music in IFOS and PG, Slash and Gilby had great writing chemistry together. It is too bad things panned out the way they did. I still think the band would sound better today with Gilby over Fortus. Even if Fortus is the more technical player.
  12. Pawnshop Guitars was a great album at the time.. As a Gn'R fan you should check it out.. There are some killer tracks on there and guest spots from I think Axl, Slash, Duff, Matt, Dizzy and Teddy I believe.. As well as a couple other musicians..
  13. That would be amazing. Wichita Lineman and maybe a few originals.. A semi acoustic cover of one of their own songs.. How hard can that be? Axl using his low voice... Or the mid range rasp he seemed to be able to find on "I feel Good".. That voice was very similar to some of the stuff on LIES..
  14. Honestly neither if the intention is just to release more frankensteined CD demos.. After almost 8 years back together lol
  15. I would prefer them dig up stuff from the classic era.
  16. Baritone over Mickey every day!!! Props to Axl for doing what he needs to do to make it work.
