Would have made more sense to put Perhaps on there with all the buzz its getting.

I hope Matt is just a temporary replacement for rehearsals. It be a shame not to grab Simon or Chris if Phil isn't avaliable.

It'd be really cool if an IEM leaks with the full Axl/crew chatter so we can hear exactly how it goes through a show, including the alleged jokes Axl tells to throw the band 😂

I feel like theres plenty of axl jokes/giving the band a hard time on the tokyo 2009 IEM but I havent listened in a while.

It honestly baffles me how much GNR fans clamor for an album "of all new material" when this band has never done that in their career.

Back on topic, i doubt the CD era is 100% over. Even if theh recorded a new record I'd bet my bottom dollar something like Atlas would pop up on it.

Seems ludicrous, but at the same time Nando hyping fans up on reddit about the General & it getting released to streaming only for it to end up being vinyl exclusive is pretty on brand.

But Slash said something which could be interpreted that Hard Skool was the oldest of the bunch and that the other forthcoming singles were newer. So if Hard Skool dates back to 1997 or earlier, when Slash, Duff and Matt were in the band, Perhaps should be newer. 

Btw, it is not proven that Hard Skool is as old as having started in 1996, but I was later informed - by a "source close to the band" - that the 1996 song that the band worked on, and which Duff and Matt talked about, was actually never intended for a Jackie Chan movie. That was a misunderstanding

Obviously we don’t know 100%, but I’m fairly certain Hardskool was from the 1994-96 sessions & was carried over to CD. Not only because of Slash’s comments but also Josh stating he had no memory of it, which probably means he wasn’t too involved with the creation. Also, Tommy also said in a recent interview that he didn’t remember the song much either & that  it could have been a song by the old band but he wasn’t sure.

I just rewatched it a few days ago. Definitely hasn’t aged well. To be honest the graphics didn’t even look that good for its time.

I’m seeing Mudvayne & Gwar right now & there’s ads for Perhaps  on the big screen. Bizarre to se them promoting the song properly lol 

I’m probably not being helpful whatsoever & I want to preface this with the fact that this is 100% me going off memory but I could’ve sworn I once saw a “leaked CDII track list that had “Grace” listed on it. Once again this probably just the Mandela affect in full swing but it still bugs me lol.

A buddy who isn’t a big GNR fan told me he heard it on the radio the other day & it sounded good. Even went on about how even though he doesn’t like Axl’s vocal style personally he appreciates his talent. For me this is pretty vindicating because I e been going on for 4 years about how they need to put out Perhaps as a single lol.

Man I just wish they would stop releasing singles a few months removed from November. It always makes it look like a record is on the way since they always put out records in that month.

the intro lead sound a little diferent from the demo to me. wouldn't surprise me if it was Robins Guitar though, isn't the tapping thing at the beginning of Absurd Bucket? He wasn't credited either.

Where did the rumor of Atlas dropping in November   come from? Anything credible or just fan speculation?

The fact that they haven't announced a CD version of Perhaps gives me a little hope a record is on the way. Also the fact that it's being advertised as being recorded this year, maybe they recorded more stuff this year as well.

The Vinyl is tempting but I'm gonna hold out & see if they do a CD release. Great effort overall, video was really well done. I really wish they would follow this up with an album release but I'm just happy they're doing something lol.

It’s officially gotten to the point where the demo version of Perhaps came on & I expected to hear those little lead parts at the beginning 🤣

Doesn’t get talked about enough but it’s amazing to hear Slash & Duff Playing with Brain 🧠. Makes me wish he was still a permanent member.

I’m hoping at least part of the press release was true & perhaps was worked on this year. That would mean that woul mean there’s at least 4 more songs left in the can
