I get a little hope seeing the new album thread was hot & its all just people talking about Pele 😔

I think it’s cool when they play CD & Slither back to back. Blew my mind when I saw them back in 2019. That being said I do think they should rotate some move VR into the set. Axl would sound great on tracks like Sucker Train Blues, Come On Come In & Get Out The Door. Would also love to see him take on some of the ballads like You Got No Right & Gravedancer. Those tracks would sound great in the same type of voice he uses on Patience & Wichita.

Happy for everyone there getting to see Locomotive, it was definitely the highlight of any of the GNR shows I’ve attended.

I'm excited about Perhaps though. I already know the song has potential and hope they actually improved it (instead of butchering it). The soundcheck sounds promising.

Is there any reason people are bringing up Soul Monster today? Was it spotted somewhere or is it just peoples usual excitement for that song lol.

either way this is exciting stuff. Perhaps is probably in my top 10 GNR songs & getting something mostly unheard like the General would be grand.

Don’t mind me, I’m just hoping the long layover on the singles Slash promised is because they decided to more songs for a proper album/EP release.

Duff played "TV Eye" which seems to be listed as TV Eye / New Rose for the Duff Solo spot. No way in hell an insider or person faking it could've ever guessed that. As well as the deepcuts that were played.

I kind of started liking Don't Damn Me again recently. The opening riff is so mean. Plus, I think it would be certainly one of the easier songs in the catalog for Axl to sing now.

The problem with Don’t Damn me is there are no spots to breathe in song 

They didn’t have harmonica at the Ritz or Wembley in ‘91 & it sounded fine.

Just listened to YCBM from this & Izzy’s backing vocals on the verses sound great. Really strengthens the part. Even if Izzy never comes back somebody in the current band should do this would take some pressure off Axl.

Slash & Myles I think 3 times. Including The Gorge in 2014 where Duff came out to play ISE with them.

Loaded once in 2011.

I also saw Motörhead in 2012 & Duff came out & played guitar on Killed By Death. He just sort of ran onstage, Lemmy didn’t announce it was him til after the song was over so it all was very surreal lol

Everytime I see a post that includes the word “insider” my heart sinks a little.

It was mixed lol. For context she’s never seen a GNR music video or anything so she was like “what’s up with Axl’s Aesthetic? It seems like he’s trying for way too many styles at once” then at the very end when he busted out the Mickey voice she was like “oh man that was rough” she didn’t hate the song though lol.

This was pretty cool. Mix was pretty lame but i was at this show so it was a nice little trip down memory lane.

On a side note I watched this with my GF who isn’t a GNR fan at all & her reaction to Axl was priceless. Wish I had recorded it.

Sounds a bit like Axl but I think Duff would know better than to have a track going in the background while filming.
