  1. Surely not. But why the hell would he go on a solo tour and play the songs he plays all the time with GNR instead some of his (and the other member's) own? Doesn't make any sense at all. People who want to hear GNR songs should go there, people who want to hear SMKC songs will go there. Should he get kicked out or leave GNR again, it would make sense for more GNR songs to creep back in, as the SMKC gigs will be the only ones he's doing and the only place you can hear GNR songs with Slash.
  2. Always loved the song and oddly the only (?) song both Prince and Michael Jackson recorded. But also the other classic cover on that album is pretty great:
  3. And Prince isn't versatile?? That's laughable.
  4. Ah, just listen to the Gold Experience album. Such a fun album:
  5. Given your stance I feel that's a waste of my time. Also there isn't that one song that defines Prince, as he has so many great songs and not all of them are the same. Of course he also has quite a share of fillers, a given with around 40 albums. But still, those songs that are considered filler by some are gems to others.
  6. Yeah. I had that happen to me with Rammstein. While I was trying like an idiot to get tickets for the 2 Frankfurt concerts for about 90 minutes, they put a third one on sale and by the time I noticed that, all of those tickets were gone too.
  7. Yeah. 70.000 people were able to get tix for Munich, but despite being there since before it started, I didn't get one.
  8. It was way easier to get tix when Axl was singing.
  9. Damn. Got standing for Stuttgart. Not what I wanted, but I will see if I can upgrade.
  10. Fake news. Whenever it's available to choose it says, not available.
  11. I don't get it. I'm always there before it starts, where it says when it starts. Then I get in the damn waiting room. Then it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get to the actual place with tickets and then everything's gone. What the hell? And that layout on Ticketcorner and Eventim is so fucking annoying with the preselection of 2 tickets, several seating categories with no information where those seats are and a layout that's spread out beyond the size of the screen. So you have to click, scroll, click, click to get anywhere where they tell you that they don't have the ticket. Or you zoom out and it's so small you can't read it anymore. So annoying.
  12. Bullshit as usual. Why the hell is AC/DC still such a draw?? And the damn 2 ticket pre selection is driving me crazy. I want to go on my fucking own.
  13. Well. At this point, you're just trolling. The man released 42 studio albums. There is plenty of great stuff for everyone.
  14. Yeah. Sadly there are. Also so many people who don't know what a master on guitar he was. Especially from rock people. "Ooh, a black man, who's mostly known as a pop artist, he cannot possibly be good on the guitar." Especially ironic when one of guitars all time masters and the legend of legends, coming before most everyone else, was a black man.
  15. Yeah. I wouldn't really call that a reunion either. Not a big fan of Lambert, but he enables May and Taylor to continue to tour playing Queen songs and also do songs Paul Rodgers didn't do, so I'm all for that and call it a success too.
  16. Kiss in 1996 and 1999 definitely was a great reunion. Got to see them then. Also Twisted Sister was an amazing reunion. As was Faith no More. And Europe. Also The Bangles, shame they haven't been properly touring in Europe since 15 years. Along with Black Sabbath in '99 and '05, Aerosmith, System of a down and The Jacksons in New York in 2001 I'm happy with my reunions.
  17. Makes sense. I do think though NA and Australia are a given. Only a matter of time before it's announced. Well, the pandemic and generally getting their shit together, I guess. I mean originally Cliff wanted to join, maybe his departure/uncertainty delayed things a bit.
  18. Yeah. Montreux was pretty special too. As soon as the last note of the fhe first concert was played, we ran out the auditorium to get right in front of the queue again for the second show and it worked, we were front row for that one. And amazingly both pro shots leaked, which really rarely happens at Montreux.
  19. Yeah. So happy when I finally got hear it live (The gold experienxe is also one of my favourite Prince albums.... Dolphin is another gem), when he played it at his concert in Zurich in 2011. Also the concert were I got up on stage and unlike Kim Kardashian, he didn't throw me off, though I'm not really a dancer either. Amazing memory, just like all 14 times I got to see him live. The most standouts where the aftershows I got to see at the Indigo, during his 21 night run in London's O2. The aftershows were longer than the main shows.
  20. It's a 3 months tour. It's not just a couple of shows. Most likely there will also be a US tour and an australian tour. He also said that he has physical problems. So maybe it is not really his choice anymore.
  21. Cliff doesn't want to tour. He gave his last show notice at Power trip. And well, older drummers are always been shit on. Ask Bill Ward, ask Joey Kramer. They probably don't have faith in him that he can do a full tour.
  22. Well, and people go and are excited because this could be the last time seeing that band.
  23. Ironic coming from a GNR fan. Have you forgot 2002 to 2014? The main person and show at this point is Angus. The second most important person is Brian, doesn't matter if he's not as good as he once was. The people who are not the event fans that fill the stadiums would also want to see Malcolm, but obviously that's not possible.
