But so too do Jackson contenders. Everyone is in the same boat that there will never be conclusive proof either way. The $1.6 billion dollar tag can’t be sourced to anything other than a Forbes article. All unsealed court documents say nothing about a dollar amount.

And yes the accusers have a consistency problem. But so too does Jackson and his estate. They have provided several accounts relating to the accusations and settlements.

At the end of the day, it comes down to who you want to believe. For many that calculation changed after watching the documentary.

Um, what?  Lol. I don’t think so.

Well, the prize tag hasn't been disputed by either side. This number is so outragous, one would think it would get disputed if false, since it hurts the credibility of the accusers. Until that happens I'm asuming it's true.

Um. Yes. It's even in the mockumentary. Robson asked to stay in Michael's room. And really, no one knows how it came about in each and every situation, so I refrain from really judging that.

Of course sleeping is not bumming  The point was rather that if you as a father heard that an adult man wanted to sleep in his bed with your children, then that would be a HUGE red flag. You wouldn't simply go, "well, sleeping isn't bumming so all is probably alright."

Let's not get that twisted. It was the kids who asked to sleep in Michael's room.

  3. Hmm. Apart from the sexual stuff looks like a very strange love letter to Jackson. Do not really believe any of the sexual stuff. Too many inconsistancies and those guys really defended and praised him way too long. Only when it became more lucrative to go the other way they changed their tunes and sued for 1,6 billion $. Michael Jackson had unusual, maybe borderline relationships to children, which made him vulnerable and a target, but not really an abusive pedophile. But whatever, people believe what they want to believe, despite everything that puts this accusations in doubt.

Probably Axl would jump out at him, screaming something like "lame ass security" and damage his camera.

I think it's offensive to take a picture even this way, when a person says no pictures... but that's just my opinion.

Yes. I think they even said, if someone takes a pic, they will leave right away.

Interesting. So it seems he was more welcoming when he was playing small clubs with Snakepit to a paying public of about five, and less so once he re-entered the bigger venues, Velvet Revolver era onwards. There is a lesson on morality and life there if you care to pursue it.

Yeah. When I saw him back in 2012, he would come out and give everyone an autograph. No pictures though. Yesterday in Zurich there were about 20 people waiting. They drove the bus right in front of the backstage door, as opposed to have him walk 30 metres to where the bus was parked previously, he made one step from the door inside the bus and they left. This is post GNR. He made millions. He doesn't need to do shit like give autographs or acknowledge fans anymore.

Personal opinion, but I'd say the ballads should be intentionally kept to a minimum in live setlists.  Estranged is by far the weak link of the Illusions bunch (Don't Cry, November Rain), Patience is much more of a fan favorite, and I'd rather hear Street of Dreams/The Blues over Estranged any day.  It just makes sense why a ten minute ballad is left out of a chunk of their touring history.

Thank god he doesn't play that shit song anymore. With Slash back, Estranged even more so is a highlight amongst the set list. The only time I saw it before with Slash was in '93 in Munich, where they used the footage for the video. I was delighted when they finally started to play it again.

Nah, Axl just mentioned they were going to HawaII for the first time, after having been to Iceland for the first time. Fernando even has his tour jacket in the Hawaiian theme. They just want to play there.

About the pit: they sold pit 1 and 2 in Gelsenkirchen too, but it was just one big pit and everyone (EE anyway) went in the same side, so there were no two pits, didn't matter if you bought Slash or Duff side. Maybe it's the same in Hawaii.

True. But the states is seated and the middle section in front of the catwalk is seats. So there are 2 sections.

Not sure on the pit situation but they won't cancel. Quite a few Europe gigs had plenty of seats unsold and even sections cut off. Iceland was nowhere near full, and Hawaii seems the equivalent of Iceland for this run. (Essentially on the way back to the US)

Yeah. I know. I was in Iceland, but that was different. It was on the way home, 2 days after Gothenborg. Before Hawaii there is a 9 day break. That kinda worries me. They might as well say 'Screw that. We're going home right away.'

  9. On Ticketmaster "Welcome to the jungle - Early Entry package" is only offered for Pit 1 (Slash's side), not for Pit 2 (Duff's side). Does anyone know if the only offered Early Entry for Pit 1 from the get go or did they offer it for both sides, but Pit 2 is sold out. Both scenarios don't make much sense to me. Why would they limit sale (and lose cash) for Early Entry? And why would Duff's side sell out first?

Also there are still plenty of tickets left. Is anyone going worried that they might cancel?

However, if/when he chastises 45 over boorish and/or unprofessional behavior, that would certainly be hypocritical.

No. It's not. Axl is a "stupid" rock star, only responsible for himself. Trump is the president of the USA. A person, who should serve the people of the USA. A person, who should be a leading example. And as that, even a "stupid" rock star can call him out, without looking like a hypocrite. And as you said, Axl has cleaned up his act for the most part.

It should be pointed out that I didn't state ''Slash's views on teetotalism'' but ''militant temperance'', and to answer the question, because he'd be laughed out of court.

Uhm, yeah. You said "merits of teetotalism". Not sure what the other means. But why would he be laughed out of court (?? which court?) if he would talk about the former. Why can't a former alcoholic not say that it's better without alcohol? He experienced both. It's the same like when someone, who never took a sip in his life, talks about the "merits of teetotalism". He only speaks theoretical, but doesn't have first hand experience. And still nobody would laugh him out of anything.
