He's getting worse each year. I've noticed what VoodooChild said when I heard Ashba's original work - he plays it safe. Always the note that will sound good to most ears. He's the pinnacle of generic guitar playing, that's why many of his solos (not in Guns, keep that in mind) are listenable/decent. He sounds like another million bedroom guitarists. There's no perfect playing from him live either - be sure that he WILL fuck up his solos at some point - be it a bad sounding bend or a bunch of wrong/inaccurate notes, he doesn't play an entire solo accurately.

I met Axl this weekend. He was in a good mood and made jokes all the time. He looked less bloated, and he even told me that this story is true.

Just heard November Rain. Dear Lord, what in the world is Ashba thinking? Yes, he does OK for the most part, but when he fucks up he does it like a boss. Out of time, flawed bends, etc. He tries to ruin the song by himself but he gets a little help from Axl (Sounds OK-ish here and there, weak here and there) and Rich. This whole bash fest thing is only there because a 50-year old Axl didn't sing the first part of YCBM with drive - which means nothing technically-wise as he's not out of tune, unlike several of the old performances. Not that I agree with their comments, but this is truly insane and makes no sense at all, yes.

Just listened to Chinese through a great speaker. How can someone say that Chinese does not sound and look great? At least in terms of proper mixing/visually speaking. The drums, the guitars, Axl, the backing vocals... the song sounds even better live imo. There's more power and energy, and I like better how the guitars sound live. I like the raw, less polished aspect of this song live. I am a fan, but oh man Ron does sound amazing here! The solo/outro lead is simply amazing and he sure knows how to translate the studio version to a live setting.

Chinese sounds awesome. For the first time ever (other than the studio version) we can hear Bumble's kickass fretless riffing and licks/solo clearly, exactly how it should be. Axl sounds as good as ever here and the backing vox are really clear. I'll tell you, I've watched it thro my phone, cant wait until I hear the whole thing properly.

Is the web version in 3D, 2D or we can choose the settings? How about the download, in 3D?

You know what, getting to hear BBF play these songs with such clear audio is absolutely the best reason out there to buy this. You might have convinced me with that simple point. #noteventrolling

I don't know about Axl sounding "as good as ever" though.

I am saying that Axl sounds as good as ever singing this particular song, not the entire show this is an easy song for him, the first song on the set, etc. He can't possibly sound bad here, eeeeer, I mean, he possibly will sound good singing this thing live. I think that the reason that even people who usually dont care about Guns like Ron's or Rich's playing is because they're professional musicians that mastered their instrument, unlike the leader of the band and the other guys.

We couldn't hear the solo because the soundboard guy fucked everything up for some reason, but the audience could heard it and it was amazing. I'm glad I still have this recoding from Axl's in ear monitor...
