There is not a single audio from this show. Not to my knowledge.
Am I correct @Dean?
At least in circulation there isn't, I have heard chat that several clips recorded on those early mobile devices that had video cams exist, but really short in length and in god awful quality.

sad to say, but pitman called it. And he was 100% right…
Aye, after he was punted and his pockets were no longer being lined. Remember, Pitman said around 2012/2013 that a band like Guns N' Roses doesn't need to release albums, so he was very much happy to play the same old tired setlist that relied heavily upon old material. Pot meet kettle etc etc.

Thanks, Dean. I was trying to figure out how to embed it, but was not working for me. After this show, I was certain this band was poised to take over the world. Axl no-showing Philly 2002 and the tour being cancelled was a huge disappointment for me. All that potential that this band had, gone just like that.
100%, Danny. Couldn't have said it better.

I was there for the 12/31/01 show, front row. Axl and the band were absolutely amazing. I can confirm Axl had the washboard abs. I believe he was in pretty much the same shape throughout 2002, just that he was wearing oversized jerseys that gave the illusion that he was overweight because of the width of the jerseys.
That looks fucking amazing!
Here it is embedded:

They do a great version of Wichita Lineman and both Axl and Slash really shine on it. I'd have loved for them to have hit the studio and drop a recording of it for purchase/raise money for Alzheimer's etc not long after it was first unveiled but it wasn't to be.

They need to put all the singles out on one vinyl.
1. Absurd
2. Hard Skool
3. Perhaps
4. The General
6. Monster.
7. Atlas Shrugged
^^^ I'd pay good money for that vinyl.
Throw in another 7 songs and release an album, I'd buy a copy of all the inevitable coloured vinyl!

Phenomenal tune and should have been released under the GNR name during Tommy's tenure. Hopefully he works it out with Axl so that he can get the song back.

God bless Wags and Persia. The good guys. Axl Rose at his very best. Everything I loved about Chinese is represented in these songs.

What a fucking talent. A glorious ginger bastard. Very very refreshing to hear.

Morrissey’s Bonfire of Teenagers was produced by Watt and when Rebels Without Applause dropped, Moz’s following has slaughtered the production.
Watt’s handiwork seems to divide opinion, but he’s done a cracking job with The Stones’ new album and in an ideal world, I’d love for Guns to be at a point of creating new music and working with in demand producers, so I’d be all for it. -

One of the best songs ever written! Great rendition as always

This is awesome how it's not leaking before release day, old school styles. 3 more sleeps. I'm using this to pass time (although still excited based on the two singles and snippets) for the real treat of a new gnr song release a week later.
It did find it's way out yesterday! I've got it blasting just now. Phenomenal.

Record buffs, have a random question.... How does one get in touch with Russ, he knew heaps about records.
He's pretty active on Twitter:

Where did you hear DOY and Get Close?
They leaked but was sort of the same as the initial Perhaps unveiling. Fella had his record shipped early and recorded them on his phone. Snippets of all songs here:

I’m going to see Tommy Stinson at a super small venue tonight. If I get the chance to ask him any gnr related questions is there anything I should be asking??
What our man said above, if there's any plans on getting Village Gorilla Head out on vinyl. Could probably ask how he feels about Slash and Duff reworking the songs he helped create and if Axl ever recorded a lead vocal for Going Down. Just a few suggestions, be sure to have a blast!

Anyone order the new Stones album? Loads of variations.
I went with the HMV exclusive, it’s Violet I believe. Really looking forward to listening to this in its entirety. I’m totally baffled at the standard of the tunes we’ve heard so far!

Perhaps on top, HS on the bottom.
The loudness war only really started around the mid 90s, so most of GNRs output was spared from it. Spaghetti' is the only GNR album to suffer from it. You can argue about it being a Punk album, and how it might have worked as an aesthetic choice. Ironically, albums that aren't boosted with loudness are easier to play louder than albums with immense clipping, so I would argue that it doesn't work as an aesthetic choice.
If I recall, almost everything Slash has put out since 5 O'Clock has been mastered loud. I don't know if this is an active choice on the part of Slash, or indifference to where popular music was trending.
It's difficult to say with Axl, because he barely released anything, so all we have to go by is CD where Axl made the bold choice to release the most dynamic version of the album that was presented to him despite it being counter to the trends at the time in popular rock music.
I did initially think that Slash may have influenced the decision for the mastering of the first two singles, however, upon revisiting Appetite for Democracy, the audio from that is exactly the same so it makes sense that it would have been an Axl call for both the live material and the singles.

Other than Hard Skool's backing vocals being burried, I really don't see what's that wrong with them, yet most people act like they're the worst recordings ever released 😂
Compare Hard Skool and Absurd to the rest of the catalogue and it's pretty evident. They fall well below par to what GNR have previously put out from a mastering/production stand point. A good master can elevate a good song to a great song and Hard Skool would have benefitted from more handiwork in that regard.

I didn't know that. Was it shown in theaters too?
I'm not so sure on theaters, I would assume that would have been the BluRay version! I did attempt to rip it in 2017 with OBS but SkyGo was well locked down so that nothing visual could be recorded.

Were you triggered by the confederate flag back then or only until people started the tell you that they are all nazis? 😉
There's more behind Neil because he vetoed the song from being released on A4D.
Bizarrely it made the TV cut of it! That's one to keep in mind for anyone with the means of ripping the show whenever it's broadcast as it's a good performance of it too!
Will the new album be Chinese demos or will it be new material?
