Did the 2nd night ever circulate? Was it the same setlist?

There was amateur footage circulating at the time. Don't Let It Bring You Down duet was tremendous but they were all eradicated not long after, I assume from Neil's camp rather than the GNR fanbase due to the first night being PPV. Axl was evidently ill at the time and that comes across pretty clear. He didn't pull out of the show and performed anyway as to not let down a hero of his and obviously the great cause.

I feel like Ghost Town isn't getting enough love here. I still enjoy that song a lot. :)

It was a grower. I didn’t love it from the off but after several plays it ended up becoming an ear worm. Doom and Gloom would probably get into my top 10 favourite Stones songs. I played that shit to death!!!

How true is the rumor that Axl submitted CD2 but it got rejected? If there’s any merit to it then it makes sense why the trilogy plans fell apart, but knowing this band it’s probably just an excuse.

It was brought up to Fernando, either here or on Reddit, and he was nonethewiser. That doesn't mean to say that it didn't happen, but it was alleged to have been handed to the label to coincide with Reading/Leeds but given there was no time for promotion, they declined. Not sure I buy that myself, but that's how the story went.

  4. The album version is one of the many highlights on Chinese and features one of the best solos in GNR's back catalogue. It was practically Axl's solo spot for the first few years of the NITL run - I was unfortunately in attendance in Berlin... it wasn't long til it was dropped entirely after that.

Hearing the remix in full for the first time was incredible. Those vocals are outrageous and it's a pity that something like this isn't available to the public, along with all the other work Axl has created over the past 25 years.
