November 13th in Minneapolis! My now wife who I had just started dating at that time decided to feign getting into GNR to have something in common, mainly so she could justify the road trip from Winnipeg with me haha. She loves Dexter so she got a kick out of that.
well that is just very sweet

Just to add:
That show was almost 4 hours. -

I was really disappointed with Slash's This I Love solo since 2017.
That song was craving for a Slash solo since it was released.
Now Street of dreams, I feel the same.Really disappointing.
Thing is, i'm used to get disappointed with Axl, but it seems now it's the same with Slash.- 3

I like it a lot. I mean. It's a bit annoying that "a new gnr song" is a song from 1999. But whatever. It sounds nice. It is a good song.

Beeing completely honest, I'd accept "Rock the Rock" atm, lmao

I loved it, it is a great album, except one or 2 songs, it's full of masterpieces.
Maiden is still at another level compared to all bands of the 80s.
-
Both songs are amazing, and all members sound great.

I like the album.
If you ask me, ACDC put the bar really high with Black Ice which I consider one of their best albums, at the same level as the loved classics. Then came rock or bust which had an amazing lead single but the rest of the album wasn't as good. Now this one, I feel the complete opposite, I didn't like the lead single, shot in the dark, but I enjoy it a lot.
I'm glad these guys put out this album, and I'd be happy if it happens to be the last one.

Yeah. I truly think so.
And I think it is a perfect place to share this because I find it GnR friendly.
I know the band hasn't exactly got the best reputation (or fans if you ask me), but what they put out is a great piece of hard rock.
I am genuinely impressed about the album, and I encourage you to listen to it.
I'm gonna leave this one here and if you like it, again, I encourage you to listen the whole thing.

I don't know... I think it's ok for him not to be all amazed by Axl all the time.
Many "vocal coach react" videos are all ike "omg, this is amazing", and praising and praising and praising. I don't mind anyone beeing not so ass-kisser.
Not my type of videos tho

What a song, god fuckin damnit.

I'm not a fan of this song (not at all; it really disappointed me); but hearing that Duff and Chad are there it still gives me hope for the album.
-
I won't mind it, but I don't think it would happen.
People want Slash, Duff and Axl, and that's what they'd probably get, for the right or the wrong reasons.
But I think it could be good to give her a solo spot in the shows... Better than hearing seeker every show.

Today I was remembering these, and watching those "short pro shot clips".
Wow... I think we seriously need a DVD of one of those concerts. Considering Axl probably won't sing with ACDC again, that tour was a grear one-of-a-kind wonder, and Axl's voice was on point.

You need to get on the meme culture. Eye on you is the song that can make viral.
I can imagine the memes about the Mac Daddy part. "Eye on you but it"s just the Mac Daddy (10 hours)"

IMO black hole sun is just a... simple song, I don't consider it not even top 10 on Soundgarden's catalog.
I won't say mediocre, because I respect all the song means for diehard fans of grunge, but... IDK... this is probably the song that doesn't make me feel anything.

Ashba wasn't the best option for GNR, any 10-year old who reads the history of the band on a napkin can understand that.
Still, the guy wasn't a "bad" player. I like the ballad of death, it is a beautiful song, and his rendition of the TIL solo were nice.
I'm also glad he is doing well with Nikki Sixx, I think the first album is pretty good, and I wish the guy the best. But he wasn't the lead guitar player for GNR, it just couldn't be.
Don't use a hat man, you're just WAITING for the comparison, and you don't have the skill to be compared with Slash. And about the AshbaSwag and all that jazz, yeah, I was 18 years old when I went to see Guns in 2010, and I remember many, many girls from 15-18 that really liked the guy.
The guitar designs were pretty cool, I liked them. But come on man, how the fuck would you appeal to the classic Guns n Roses fan with that.Oh well... on a positive note for the guy, yeah, there were a lot of negative comments on the boards, but I also remember really good feedback on the casual fans

You know, let me tell you, I love how this songs sounds, even with the "oohhh oooooh".
The vocal melodies are amazing, even without lyrics. -

Don't forget 14 Years with Izzy, Gilby, Adler, Bucket, Finck, Bumblefoot, Stinson, Freese, Brain, Pitman, Tobias, and Ashba.
Ah nice, Ashba pulls that song really well.
-
Buckethead is way on another level, not only about skill, soul, composing.. everything.
Then, slash, finck, izzy, bumblefoot, fortus, ashba.(i'd pick Paul Huge over Ashba and Fortus for his contributions as a composer on CD)

Appetite Five reunion setlist - What would you include?

I imagine they making only one big comeback show, only play one in a million and then walk away, disappearing forever into their private lives.
