The people in here are funny. Metallica loyality was at an all time high tonight. Fact is Pantera has more talented musicians that make much better music, making Metallica look like pussies.
The fact is Metallica and their fans try and imply they are the most ass kicking hard band out there, they are not.
The fact is you are being intentionally divisive when there's no need. Instead of simply praising a band you like you decided to attack another band, one with a massive influence on Pantera, I might add. My post had nothing to do with Metallica loyalty, but I suppose the sort of short-sighted person that would create a thread like this might want to view it that way.

No, korn are one of the worst bands due to lack of actual talent. Their drummer is mediocre, their guitarists have been crap and their bassist is one of the worst to call themselves a professional in history. Hell the only reason anyone even knows his name is because of the god awful tone he has [or lackof tone, that is] Davis sounds like a monotonous donkeywith sandpaper stuck in it's throat.

Yikes DM wins with ease. The only gripes I have with DM are the clipping and the day that never comes mimicing one structurally. Whereas DM was an attempt to bridge their old and new, UA was far too full of rehashed riffs and even a remake of an older song as the first single in an embarrassing attempt to say "hey look, we're old school again, see, see, here are old school riffs"

Anyway, DM is both a great effort at both getting back that old school feel to it and moving forward with something new and fresh. Besides, metallica has a larger core fanbase than gnr, so the comment about pleasing one group was pretty embarrassing on this guy's part.
Axl n' roses should take note as far as how to impress more than one target demographic...that is unless axl is only concerned with pleading the dreadlocks like this funeral guy
