  1. 2013 Ribfest Profits of $548,000 distributed to Community Projects

December 10, 2013 - The Naperville Exchange Club will distribute $548,000 to Naperville area non-profits for their community projects to eliminate child abuse and domestic violence. After reviewing over 90 projects, Allocations Committee Chair Diane Simmons and her committee identified 52 groups to be included in this years allocation generated from the proceeds of Ribfest. The Exchange Club, through Ribfest will have donated more than $14 million to local agencies primarily to fight child abuse and domestic violence.

Wow! Slash helped to raise $548,000 to fight child abuse and domestic violence. That's pretty cool. :slash:

Big fuckin deal...Slash could just donate that money like Axl does under the radar.

You'll never see Axl go "look at me look at me I am raising money for charity" Fuck that he does it on the low and doesn't need to whore himself out.

You have no proof Slash doesn't do this.

  2. No

    Not surprised one bit.
Why would Slash like someone who took the job he desperately wants?
You are right...he seems the most bitter out of all the ex-members and he's the one that actually quit lol
He didn't quit. He just didn't join the new band that Axl formed. In the same breath you could say that Axl was the one who quit the old band and started a new one. Either way it doesn't matter neither one wanted to work with the other ones terms.

Best post ever. Thanks, Marc. Sorry people are attempting to cupcake this section.

  3. Here's an idea: instead of spending all the money your mom gives you on pot and Burger King you could give $5 to mygnr. It is obviously a money issue with you since you feel the need to bitch and cry about the board needing funding and those in charge trying it keep it afloat. Clean the sand out of your vagina and stop your incessant whining. Perhaps try being a solution instead of the problem all the time. It's good for you to try new things.

  4. It's by far the best new feature mygnr has tried. Limiting the amount seems a bit of a desperate attempt to get some more supporters. Why limit it?

Honestly dude? Excuse my frustration, but it's 5 bucks a year.

5 bucks a year towards the $330 a month that Subs pays out of his pocket in hosting costs... calling it a desperate attempt is a bit fucking unfair when we hardly push donations at all here.

    Exactly.

Stop being such a cheap bastard and give a tiny bit to support the board you attempt to cupcake on a semi-regular basis.

  5. We are the target audience for this book. If people on here aren't interested then things don't exactly look promising.

As a bystander, it sure seems like a lot of posts in a thread topic that people aren't interested in.
Read the thread and what the posts say, not how many there are.

A certain circle of fans? You hear how absurd you sound, right? Where was your white knight outfit when people are saying horrible things about the people mentioned above (you know, the ones you've glossed over)?

If you're so above this board with your faux class and attitude post at HTGTH with Amy and the other Kool Aid drinkers.

Well obviously, Groghan, those people aren't included in the protection of a "certain circle of fans" even though the things said about them pale in comparison to the comments that might have been negative about Lisa.

The circle of people are the people that know the Reeds, and Groghan is not one of them as far as I am aware

I am just sticking up for people that are sticking up for Lisa, that is all.

Whatever all this other nonsense I am getting thrown about Erin and Slash, I have no idea. Sorry.

Knowing them, huh? What constitutes knowing her? If she responds generically to a comment you made on a FB post of hers are you suddenly in the circle you speak of? I'm curious.
