  1. MSL posted that Marc is wrong. I think MSL should quit smoking weed

    :drevil:

The only times Duff wanted a reunion was for the HOF. I guess the whole world wanted that... except Axl

Don't put it all on Axl. Izzy wasn't there either.

I believe Alan Niven said Izzy was going to try to talk Axl into going but Axl didn't show up for the meeting.

    Source?

  2. What is this crap doing littered all through a Canter Banter thread? As someone that likes to read insightful commentary, this is the one section left largely untainted by the shit that flows freely through the rest of this place, Could we try to keep it that way? Is that so much to ask? :shrugs:

  3. Human tragedy aside, this is such an odd situation for a movie studio in the modern blockbuster world. Only thing it seems comparable to is Heath ledger but he had already filmed all his scenes as the Joker when he died. Walker still had a month left. How can they salvage a 200 million dollar film from this?

    Comparable: Brandon Lee ?

Brandon Lee died of a gunshot wound on March 31, 1993 after an accidental shooting on set of The Crow

At the time of Lee's death, only eight days were left before completion of the movie. A majority of the film had already been completed with Lee and only a few scenes remained to be done. To complete the film, stunt double Chad Stahelski, who was a friend of Lee's at Inosanto Academy, served as a stand-in; special effects were used to give him Lee's face. Another stunt double, Jeff Cadiente, was also used to complete Brandon's parts for the movie.

bit further through the filming, but CGI in 2013 is a lot better than it was in '93...

  4. OK, I get your point now, and if I'm wrong then so be it. and I see how it could be misleading if you let it. But to me it reads as though it's just something they can do. To separate the lists of prior auctions into, well, Auctions and Charity Auctions acts to confirm this further. Added to that that this "quote" has not come from anything specific to this current auction, but instead plucked from the 4th stanza of a general 'about' page...

I think that even if she is doing it for charity, the quoted statement does not relate to her auction and shouldn't be seen as proof while there is that seperation between Auctions and Charity Auctions.

And if you think nothing exists down under, I'm in that little triangle underneath that gets left off the map too often!

  5. This is a low blow from Erin. Diddnt she attend one of Guns shows in Florida a couple of years back and posted a picture of herself at the show? she is probloby broke!

The money is going to charity not her. What exactly does she do for a living?

what makes you think this? Charity! Yeah right! Misinformation fed to forums... Great example of "read(ing) what we want, between selected lines"...

Maybe the statement from the person who auctions this stuff himself??? If you look back through the posts you would have seen this :-

    <_<

Did any of you idiots who are trashing Erin actually read what Julien's Auctions is fuckin' about?

    I quote:

    Quote

Julien's Auctions works with our celebrity clients and the entertainment industry to create auctions that benefit their charity interests.

So which lines are we reading between? I think this is pretty clear in itself.

Oh shit! Looks like she's really desperate for the money!

    __

On topic: I'm glad I'll be able to bid on some of those items. I support Erin for doing this.

Troccoli fuck off, you can't beat me.

I don't believe this auction is for charity...

That above quote came from here: http://www.juliensauctions.com/about-juliens.html

Nowhere is this linked to Erins items, nor do they claim all their auctions are for charity, instead offering a list of prior auctions...

"Previous auctions include the collections of Cher, The Estate of Bob Hope, Steven Tyler, The Estate of Marilyn Monroe, The Estate of Tony Curtis, Barbra Streisand, The Estate of Mary Pickford and memorabilia from the life and careers of Michael Jackson, Elvis, The Beatles, Madonna and numerous others."

later followed by the list of charitable auctions,

"Previous charity auctions have been conducted with U2, The Elton John Foundation, The Gibson Foundation, MusiCares, The Grammy Foundation and the sale of individual items for Angelina Jolie, Cher and other high profile clients"

So, can you show me, and "the idiots who are trashing Erin" where you found such a convincing belief she was doing this for the good of charity? Thanks...
