  1. I dig it. It is pretty heavy for him. I am sure it was influenced by the current events in Niger.
  2. Slash tickets acquired. Will get my Mdou Moctar tickets soon, too. Last year was packed for shows, but it looks like this year will be a quieter gig year. I'm pretty pumped for Sting in a small theater, the Slash blues festival, and Mdou Moctar, though. Those are three high- impact shows for me.
  3. Yeah I stopped going to the SMKC shows, too. Not because they are bad, I just felt like I got my fix and was good with just GNR for a while. I really am pumped for this. I just bought Sting tickets which were a lot, but I guess what is a little more for this, too
  4. Really? Does Slash usually sell theaters out? I haven't seen him since 2015 outside of GNR and I remember getting a ticket the day of for like 15 bucks. These are like 50-90 before fees
  5. I think I'll just buy tickets in the summer, but I am definitely planning on going
  6. Just got tickets to see Sting in a small theater in Detroit. Surprised they were under 200 each after fees on StubHub. Mdou Moctar and Slashs blues festival are on my radar too
  7. To me it is more symbolic that they are out there still, anyways. I don't care a whole lot how they sound. I'm happy Slade got another go around in 2015-2016. I bet he was, too. Anything left now just matters for Angus and Brian imo
  8. I haven't seen Slash outside of GNR since 2015. I have to say, I am pretty excited and this is a good shot in the arm.
  9. Looks like the higher cost one is a soundcheck, not a meet n greet. Still kind of cool. I did the meet n greet with him in 2012, and it was pretty brief. Glad I got to meet him once, though
  10. EDIT- On all dates, SLASHwillperform alongside his Blues band featuring bassist Johnny Griparic, keyboardist Teddy ‘ZigZag’ Andreadis, drummer Michael Jerome, and singer/guitarist Tash Neal.
  11. Bummed Eric Gayles isn't playing the show I will go to, but it seems Keb Mo is. Very cool. I hope Slash has an all- new band for this. Nothing against MK or the rest of the Conspirators, but if he is going to do a blues tour, do a blues tour!
  12. Darn I would love to go to this! Interlochen is a tough sell in the middle of the week, though EDIT- There's a date in Windsor! Whoops, hope I can make that!
  13. I think he did a great job with Hackney Diamonds, and I agree. Unfortunately, I don't think it is in the cards and I don't see Axl having another record built from scratch left in him.
  14. They would definitely need the stems. You can't just take the master tracks and paste over them. They arent that amateur... yet. I would guess they took the ~2006 versions of leftover songs and deleted most of the guitars and the bass, and then Slash, Richard, and Duff just played what they wanted over the vocals and other pieces. It would mean the songs' arrangements could not be changed, but the music could be altered with new guitar and bass parts. The songwriting credits to Slash and Duff are symbolic, they obviously did not write or rearrange the songs as you know.
  15. Hard Skool/ Absurd Perhaps/ The General Monsters/ Berlin Zodiac/ Atlas Shrugged Tonto/ Seven Compile it all on a record with a G and R side and a CD. Call it "Guns N' Roses or Not in this LIfetime" or something and put it as an online exclusive. Have a deluxe version with live selections from 2016. That'd be a hell of a package and very easy for them to do, eventually.
  16. Absolutely loved Germany! Spent 11 days based out of Frankfurt. Saw that city, Cologne, Black Forest (Triberg), Bavaria (Wurzburg and Lohl), Tannous mountains (Lorsbach, Longenhain), Rhineland (Mainz)
  17. I’d be happy with Monsters, Zodiac13, Tonto, and Oklahoma. That’s best case for me at this point
  18. Susie’s consistent yelling and rage would have fit right in with the band in the 80s
  19. I’m 32… Slash- WoF were huge for me when they came out This album is the most excited I’ve been for a Slash record since WoF
  20. I’m actually pretty excited the more I think about it that it’s a covers album. The song list is stellar and based on the first track, it will sound excellent. Recording live with such clarity is a good call for a blues record. Blue and Lonesome by the Stones was recorded that way, too, and it sounds killer. Plus, there is an original too!
  21. I really appreciate Miles for everything. He was one of my favorites through WoF. I think Slash just got comfortable and enjoys working with SMKC and I can’t fault him for that. I would love an all new band to shake things up for a blues tour
