I wasn't certain whether I even wanted to watch this (based on your post in the other thread), but curiosity got the better of me, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The lawyer did a good job in offering a balanced view on things despite being a GNR fan. I don't think he even indicated whether he personally believes the accusations unless I missed it.

What was not a balanced view was the excerpt from Doug Goldstein's memoir. He says that if there had been abuse he would have noticed something because supposedly he knows the signs of abuse. Then he goes on to recall all these incidents that I think anyone of sound mind would recognise as signs of abuse, but Doug is just blind to what is right in front of his eyes. Not to mention the repeated "Don't poke the bear."  Maybe Axl belongs to a zoo then.

fyi there was still so much work to be done with his book...phrasing, narratives, fact-checking. Consider these "excerpts" just well-organized stories and thoughts. I enjoy sharing some stories when they make sense to, otherwise they'll just sit on my OneDrive taking up space.

Documentary Crew? They have had people filming on and off for years. I recall an early episode of @Gambit83 podcast where a guest (I forget who, I think a journalist) had mentioned being interviewed for it by a british guy and that others had too. Hopefully he can remember and post if i'm not going mad. I remember thinking it sounded "Official" and not some crappy TV thing. I think this was around first reunion gigs.

I know Dale Resteghin was shooting in 2010 for South American tour, and there was the 2006 stuff by I think by Lush Productions. Obviously the most well known stuff is the Perfect crime doc. Perhaps they are filming again?

Wish I could remember! Art Tavana maybe?

I saw Tommy at a meet and greet before a show he did in Athens, Georgia in 2022. He said he has not spoken with Axl since he left in 2014, but this was not a huge change from when he was in the band. He said outside of touring/studio time, he could probably only count one one hand the number of times he actually hung out with Axl outside of "work". Tommy said Axl was that way with everyone; he likes being private. I would imagine it was not different from Duff or Slash's relationship with Axl today. I was, however, also bummed to hear Axl was not happy with Tommy. Like you said. Tommy was inthe mix for GN'R for a lot of up and down times and only left when it became impossible to keep going. When I spoke with him, he said he still talks to Del James, Richard, and Frank often and DJ semi-regularly.

Big balls to Brando for bringing up Buckethead to Tommy. He gave a similar answer when someone asked about Bucket at the meet and greet. I know they did not get on well. Also, even bigger balls for saying Tommy was in Collective Soul (he wasn't).

I said Collective Soul instead of Soul Asylum? Do'h. And I wasn't about to dig deeper given his reaction to Bucket wasn't nice.

Kinda weird Tommy leaving would put him in a bad light with Axl (his words). Tommy gave the band almost two decades and wanted to be home with his family. Respect. I take it they no longer speak?

You might be able to tell I was caught off guard by that. I try to avoid the negative, but as soon as Tommy said that I was like uh oh there's a headline.

Who is next on your GnR hitlist Brando?

*fingers crossed bucket agrees to it one day* ;)

I'm trying to convince Azam Ali to have Bucket just be there on Zoom when I interview her again about their album.

Short interviews scheduled though with Steve Turner of Mudhoney and Geezer Butler.

A Marco Beltrami interview would be cool too, any idea in case he hasn't been asked. He worked on some CD songs, and unreleased ones such as Thyme, The General, Seven, and Soul Monster (then Leave Me Alone)

I've submitted requests through his site, no luck.
