  1. Lawsuits between everyone probably got to the point where the Axl camp (Axl&Dizzy) isnt on good terms with the Slash (Slash&Duff, etc.) camp.

I figure all these lawsuits have the guys at a point where they arent sending Christmas cards to each other anymore.

  2. OK guys, this is NO joke, I AM Axl, or let's better say: I WAS! I read a lot of your posts the last few hours, some of you are far more intelligent than I thought. But like I once said in Rio: "the internet seems like a big gabage can to me". I still believe that, so I am going to leave you now. Maybe I drop in some time later, just watch me! I would especially like to thank you guys who had a welcome left for me when I joined the board, like Ken for example (nice talkin' to you, man!) I know some of you will not believe this and call me a dumba*s after this post, whatever... Anyway, I hope to see you in one of my concerts the next time! Because we WILL be tourung again, watch us!

In love for my fans, Axl.  :-*

Alright then, wheres your flippin album at? And what happened to that whole comment about ditching a tour where you said "i wouldnt be able to disappoint so many fans in one big swoop" and that it "brought a tear to your eye"

Hmmm, I guess your word is just about as good as the medias eh?

  3. Well if they do cancel, a lot of questions will be answered.

1.) Will GNR ever go on tour again? Nope, not after a whole tour was cancelled.

2.) Will Chinese Democracy come out? Nope, not after 2/3s of a tour is cancelled, and about 250,000 fans nationwide who have tickets are vying for Axls throat.

  4. If this is what "The Project" is doing, I give it just as long as Snakepit, then it will be over, and Slash will be back to doing one offs with Michael Jackson.

THIS SUCKS! Im sorry, its too '80s' for me.  I was into that sound in the 80s and early 90s.  But right now, it just isnt my bag.  Maybe the nostalgic people that are anti-new GNR will dig this horse S H I T (not nuts), but I certainly favor GNR over this pile o crap.

  5. Back in 1987 it was Welcome To The Jungle that more or less brought GNR into the mainstream.  Now Chinese Democracy at least in my eyes has that same fury and energy that Welcome To The Jungle did.

Its kind of ironic if you think about it.  GNR came out with WTTJ and they exploded, and Chinese Democracy eerily reminds me of WTTJ.

    Anyone else get that vibe?

  6. Everybody is talking about his age like he's sooo old for touring or something. HE'S ONLY 40!!!! Look at other singers out there year round...............

STEVEN TYLER - 54 years old

MICK JAGGER - 59 years old

RONNIE JAMES DIO - 60 years old!!!!!

Axl is still young folks......... AGE IS NOT A FACTOR

    btw....... I'm new here  ;D  ;)

Im all for the whole new GNR thing, but something you might wanna consider.  Tyler and Jagger didnt take 10 years off.  I dont know from experience or anything but I think when you get up there past 35, it starts to take more effort to put on a performance like you did in your 20s.

Age can be a factor if your not keeping yourself in working order.

But this doesnt apply to Axl, I saw his RIR3 performance, grade A.

But I hope you get my point, Axl took an aweful long time off from touring where Tyler and Jagger took at most 4-5 years off.

  7. I got tickets for this concert my boss, my fiancee and I are going.

But, if anyone else is going, get there early, parking by the Palace of Auburn Hills is very scarce.

    (Oh, Im New Here!)

If your going to the Detroit concert, let me know, Id love to meet some real GNR fans.
