The best one to interview Axl, for me, would be someone that would both make Axl lower his guard and go into fun storytelling mode, but would also ask great questions that would help probe the actual unknowns and not just superficial, fluff questions. I can't really think of anyone.

Nah, not for me. The CD fans don't want Slash and Duff redoing stuff previously done by members they liked. Non CD fans don't want CD type songs. IMO.

I'm a big CD era fan (1998-2006). I don't have any problem with redone or original CD material being released.

The original CD lineup is dead forever and I treat it like how I would treat Nirvana. So If they're going to release a new album, I'd prefer it to be from the same band that goes to play it live on stage.

Glastonbury could be terrible for them.

If they don't REALLY perform well they'll get torn to shreds by people as it goes out live on TV here and Brits are notoriously brutal with this sort of thing!

For many people this will be the first time they've seen proper footage of the band in years and years, and I can't see them being kind.

It's fine. It may be the only way they can finally stop the endless touring and fuck off for good.

Traveling to foreign countries, meeting new people and friends you've known for years now through gnr. Plus seeing a good rock show. There's lots to be excited about

Ok, understood the first and second point. the third one is debatable.

  5. I don't want to spoil the fun, but I wonder what some of you are so excited about? another round of tour with the same shitlist after 6 years?

I'm not surprised about the casual fan mommy going to these gigs with tix bought by her 30 year old son for her b-day. It's nostalgic for her I understand.

But people at this forum still being excited? no I don't get it.

  6. Welcome back. You didn't miss anything from GNR world. But here's a recap:

    1. The leaks, get them now if you haven't: The Village Sessions + Vegas 010101 (full show) + Saskatoon 93 (full show)

    And then we had these:

    2. Silkworms being presented as a brand new song

    3. Beta literally telling fans to shut the fuck up because they have no idea about Axl. Also unfriended Susan Holmes on instagram for posting a photo of Stephanie and herself. She did praise the new 'CD' (silkworms) from time to time.

    4. DJ Ashba saying Buckethead wasn't fitting GNR and Tommy Stinson saying "No, You're shit".

    5. Matt Sorum had almost released an erotic fiction book. In this book he's a hero who teaches other Rockstars including Seb Bach how to lick pussies and that Axl is an asshole.

    6. Axl said no more mico ficko.

    Ain't this a bit creepy?

What's creepy about this? Every flight enthusiast is following certain routes/flight numbers on flightradar. Maybe the concept is new to some of you. But it's very normal.

Hi all.  The last Aussie tour I watched the plane on flightradar.com .  I can't seem to find their plane this time around.  Anyone know the rego?

How's the ATC Live in Australia, covering all?

This weekend I listened to both Use Your Illusion 1 and 2, front to back, for the first time in several years. I've always heard comments like "endless filler," but I don't think so. Even lesser songs like "Shotgun Blues" and "You Ain't the first" are good. Then there are terrific songs like "The Garden" and "Garden of Eden," and "So Fine" which are just kind of written off.

The Garden is up there with Estranged for me.

The song, the mood, that music video, having Alice Cooper co-leading the vocals with Shannon Hoon doing backing. Everything is top.

Also Axl did a great justice to the song in that Saskatoon performance.
