I personally have no complain specially when they've added PTU, AG, RL, BO as mentioned above.
Besides there not much to complain about setlist of a band with barely four albums to be honest.

I don't get this joke/reference.,.🤔🤨🧐
probably a reference to a quote from the presenter of their MTV 92 performance before November Rain feat Elton John (2 Pianos)

- Release either Munich 1993 proshot or Perfect Crime documentary (if exists).
- Respectfully retire this year
- I don't want new album anymore.

I always thought the GN'R 2006 logo with the star in the background would make a killer tattoo. At the time, someone told me to wait for CD to come out as they will have better logos. I never liked the logos for the 2008+ CD era.
2006 graphics in general were really solid. I would even say it was minimalist compared to anything before and after that. And yes the logo was great.

Yes unfortunately.

Jokes aside, honestly you've cherry picked some badly taken photos of NewGnr merch,
while what I just did was to literally visit the official merch site and pick stuff very randomly.

Read my lips, although you can't: there will be no such thing as "new GNR music."
If that really was the plan all along, why wait 5 years after the reunion to get rid of those songs? Why not use the momentum? They did literally nothing for 5 years in terms of new songs and now they suddenly remembered to throw out the CD stuff so they can work on new music? Give me a break.
I'm thankful for every new release, be it CD or new stuff - but I just don't see it happening.
Brace yourself as you're gonna get a lot of negative responses in this forum for being rational and realistic.
But I totally agree with you.

I think the CD artwork reveal might've been summer 2002 just before the VMA performance. Someone more knowledgeable probably has the exact date. Pretty sure it was described as the same bike with the band's name written on the wall.
You are absolutely correct. That was Hong Kong 2002. The very first 2002 show.
Regarding the new year's eve shows, apparently the second Vegas show had the best OMG performance ever:
"Axl hitting all his vocals and both lead guitarists shredding every note! One of the night’s highlights was a flawless performance of ‘Oh My God’ – something that hadn’t been pulled off in the band’s previous three gigs" Source: GnrOnTour

I was at The Joint in 01 with the original Nu-GNR lineup. That was a pretty wild moment. They still had the same stage setup as HOB 2001 and Rio 2001. The whole thing was really surreal and cool in a weird way. I actually would have seen every version of Nu-GNR had they not cancelled the second half of the 2002 tour. Really the best moment of the era wasn’t a moment. It was that Axl was in the tail end of his prime and could still really sing almost like he could in the late 80s early 90s.
Was it the night when Axl had revealed the CD cover art? If yes, was it exactly the same artwork?

“We’re clearing things out — priming the pumps for things that have been around that we wanna get out and release before releasing new music," he says.
This guy has been priming the pumps since 2009. I don't believe a word from him or anyone else including Slash and Duff.
Those being around for long time know what I mean.

Imagine seeing Buckethead and Robin Finck back with GN'R. Just think about how awesome "There Was A Time" would sound live...
#BringBackTheBucket
You can bring back Buckethead and Robin but you can't bring back Axl's voice. So it doesn't work even hypothetically.

You do know if they did re-release it they will be putting slash/duff on it.
For a unheard bucket/cd era version of it then its best fit on a CD anniversary release as a bonus track.
Completely agree.
Just keep Slash away from any CD material for fuck sake.

- Buckethead's Nightrain solo
- Buckethead's KOHD solo
- Rock Am Ring 2006 - especially WTTJ and IRS
- TWAT live at Hammerstein Ballroom 2006
- Tokyo, Taipei and Osaka 2009 - especially Tokyo
- Live at the Forum and Live at the Joint 2012 livestreams
- Robin Finck guest appearance at House of Blues 2012
- The leaks along the way
that NYC TWAT was biblical

Well I can't really comment positive on Ashba era (except maybe 2009-2010) but full respect for 2001-2006 band.
Had everything go as planned, this band could get massive. I would say, even outperforming the old band.
It's kind of a comedy to see the same exact people who strongly reject or make fun of Nu Guns idea, are getting excited about new singles. Songs that are essentially the works of Robin Finck, Tommy, Buckethead and Brain/Josh. It is very disturbing to hear Slash's half assed solos over these works.

hey guys,
anybody has Perla's pictures that apparently appeared in the Hustler magazine before she met Slash?
I was moving house and when I was packing I was going through this old scrapbook full of cut outs that some of us are old enough to have. I totally forgot all about it, but anyhow, there was a mention that Perla had a session with Hustler.
Since she did it and it was published (don't know when) she sure must be okay with us taking a look, right?
search for "Perla Ferrar" or "Perla Ferrari"

Sure it would. Hits, airplay, hit albums draw crowds. Were Gunners, Bon Jovi or U2 stadium bands before UYI's, Keep tthe faith, Actung Baby? No.
Does anyone really think HS/Absurd/Perhaps would have made it on any of the first 4 albums?
Izzy and Adler/Sorum would not only prevent them from writing such crap, but maybe even get them back on track with new YCBM or Paradise city, which would relaunch massiv airplay, album sales, ticket sales etc.
Finally, who here thinks people pay tickets to see Axl or HS/Absurd/CD/Wichita...? They come to see the songs off first 4 albums. Let's be honest.

New Limited Edition Greatest Hits. Clear/Gold Vinyl.
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS

An 'uber casual' fan won't bother with a vinyl to discover a popular band like GNR. He'll check them out on Youtube. This is not the 70s.
So I believe the target for this rather pointless release is the die hard fans who are collectors as well.
