Haven't heard anything but saw a posted setlist and there was certainly songs there that haven't been played for ages. By GnRs standards that's a big shift in setlist.

I know, I was just playing the nagger lol. Before attacks begin, the show was cool in all fairness. I liked Bad Obsession. it's my fav from UYI.

Change them in any way you can/want, for fun!

    To start off with:

Anything Goes, except it's about being stuck in a maze.

    [Verse 1]

I've been walking 'round, walking 'round vexed
Always hungry for escape that I haven't found yet
Hey stranger lady, you got something to use?
'cause, I've got nothing, no compass to guide you

    [Chorus]
My way, your way, any way goes tonight
My way, your way, any way goes to

    [Verse 2]
Minotaur in maze, looking for prey to seize.
I know you're startled, but no time to freeze.
Turn left, turn right, your hand to the wall,
As long as we keep moving, we won't be in palls.

    [Chorus]
My way, your way, any way goes tonight
My way, your way, any way goes toni-i-i-i-i-ght, yeah-yeah
My way, your way, any way goes tonight
My way, your way, any way goes tonight!

    [Guitar Solo]

    [Chorus]
My way, your way, any way goes tonight
My way, your way, any way goes tonight, oh yeah
My way, your way, any way goes tonight-ay-ay-ay-ay, yeah
My way, your way, any way goes tonight
My way, your way, any way goes tonight

    [Outro]
    Tonight, tonight, tonight
    Any way goes tonight
    Oh woah woah woah, woah...
    Said any way goes tonight

No need for all these efforts. Just go to any NITL shows and listen to your favorite songs butchered professionally.

I think it's Axl and I also agree with the "negativity". But I also have bad ears. I'm pretty conflicted

I understand the "negativity" and absolutely stay away from this sort of things but this one caught my attention. I don't hesitate to share my opinion whether people make fun or not.

So my guess is it's 80% Axl and can be 20% Duff. The second part "Like it ever be" or something is very Axl Rose. It has Atlas Shrugged tone/type of singing but again, hard to judge or speculate anything.

I wrote this comment for the record and I will leave it at that and don't wanna think about it anymore.

  4. Basically anything that is not jeans, cowboy shoes hat and jewelley stuff:

He could absolutely pull off just shorts, sneakers, a plain shirt, and a bandana. Throw in a cool beard (oh boy, here we go again) and an occasional rasp, and we have a good old Axl back!

Spot on!! we're on the same page.

a Kurt Cobain style with casual pants with a goatie could just be perfect as well

Ironically Axl doing a cameo at a talented musician's show and dueting is more '90s Axl than the shut-in Axl of the nuGNR era ever was.

On the nuGNR Axl, I believe the opposite. His radical move both in music and fashion and being against the norms and public expectation was very much 'Axl Rose'. It was equally brave as wearing Charles Manson shirt or pushing the band to get out of their comfort zone and do stuff like Estranged or November Rain.

Rants didn't go away on his live performances. Likewise, rage against the authority and those in power. Examples for these are RIR 2001's "Take that guy outta here" and Leeds 2002's "He's in my ass that's where Slash is" and his anger at the city council before Nov Rain.

So in my opinion the signature character, the controversial one, had been intact up until 2007.
