From Christopher Lennertz Instagram:
So the huge cat is finally out of the bag, and my screaming 18 year old garage band self would never have guessed that I would get to revisit, conduct, and add orchestra to one of the greatest power anthems in rock history for this massive anniversary collector’s addition. Thanks to the amazing GnR and their management for the trust and support and massive thanks to Doug Mark for the introduction! And huge props to Andrew Kinney for updating and reimagining the wonderful orchestration with me. And David Low, @akruckus and our amazing musicians…Dream come true!!! @gunsnroses

Interesting question Karice. Also no smileys in your text which is a good progress.
1. Don't Cry *
2. Sweet Child O' Mine *
3. Knockin' On Heaven's Door **
*Axl's crappy vox at live performances fucked up my feelings for these songs.
** unnecessarily long live turned it into pee/beer break at shows.

You didn't have anything else to brag about yourself except the place you live in? It's sad. Cause that doesn't add anything to a person's quality as a human being.
I feel sorry for you.

The Magnavox Odyssey is the first commercial home video game console . The hardware was designed by a small team led by Ralph H. Baer at Sanders Associates, while Magnavox completed development and released it in the United States in September 1972 and overseas the following year . The Odyssey consists of a white, black, and brown box that connects to a television set, and two rectangular controllers attached by wires. It is capable of displaying three square dots and one line of varying height on the screen in monochrome black and white, with differing behavior for the dots depending on the game played 😆. Players place plastic overlays on the screen to display additional visual elements for each game, and the one or two players for each game control their dots with the knobs and buttons on the controller in accordance with the rules given for the game. The console cannot generate audio or track scores . The Odyssey console came packaged with dice, paper money, and other board game paraphernalia to accompany the games, while a peripheral controller—the first video game light gun—was sold separately. 😅😅

Oh My God. First heard in 99 and was so disappointed by its production quality. Couldn't understand a word from vocals too.

At least Michael Jackson released three albums after UYI came out, and he's been dead for thirteen years. He has two more posthumous albums with mostly-new material. Whatever else was wrong with him, he actually made music once in a while.
Don't worry about posthumous albums. Heaven forbid, in an event of Axl's death, the Brazillian heirs will take care of it. An album or unreleased 90s material per year guaranteed.
+ Hologram tour managed by Fermanager.

2. a year off for axl to rest or go into a studio
I don't feel Axl being a musician anymore. Although he seems to enjoy doing never ending tour and butchering his own songs with his shameful vox. But he seems to show no interest whatsoever to create anything new or get into studio with the rest of the band.
So it's either another boring tour of smaller venues (more expensive tix) or nothing.

I still love the old live recordings 1987-2014.
Dude, even 2014? lol

I was responding to all the "Ooh, the band sucks/is boring/is done/it's over." people. And I can actually read your signature. Also it's one thing to say you're done/bored whatever with the band, because they don't do what you like them to do, but to say they suck is ridiculous and I will always say something when someone claims that.
My signature is a tiny fraction of what I think about GNR. So you're still clueless.
But don't take things personal. I just don't think the amount of rage against negative comments is necessary.
Cheers.

I will tell you my experience, I like to read the concert threads and everything, but I tried to avoid hear them, because what is the point, the concert really is not for people in their homes, so you will not get the entire experience, but Rock in Rio was made for people in their homes, so the sound will be properly done and everything, so I, and I talk about me, had an extremely enjoyable experience...not boring at all...yesterday the high point was Slash, he was awesome.
Respect.
Admins please pin Georgina's message as an example of how one can disagree with an opinion and elaborate in a decent manner.

No, but if a band supposedly sucks and bores you and you think everything they do is crap (and they have died 20 years ago), why post about them all day long?? That is ridiculous too.
1st: kiwi was replying Tom, not me.
You have zero idea what I personally think about the current status of the band so don't put words in my mouth.
2nd: I repeat for hundredth time, everyone in this forum is free to share their opinion. (As long as it's not racist, hate speech or anything similar). If you don't like negative comments, why don't you just ignore it? Are you getting paid by the band to come here and fight anyone who disagrees with what this band has turned into?

If that's the case why bother with the band at all. Why waste your time signing in and offering an opinion. You are doing this all to yourself and it's all self inflected...
So, the bottom line is that you want to read only positive feedback from people? You won't get that here.
But Jarmo has what you're looking for. Though it's dead as f*ck but might work for you.

They could always do more Spaghetti songs.
2006 had some cool Down on the Farm.
Always wished to hear Black Leather, Hair of the Dog and Human Being live.
But not with the current Circus. Don't wanna damage my imagination.

Thanks so much for doing these, @Blackstar. Very fun coming into these threads, debating the music among fans, etc.
Also, "The Garden" was robbed.
I agree. Much healthier than talking about Team Brazil or arguing with those who believe GNR shows in 2022 is better than ever before.
And yes, The Garden deserved better.

I honestly believe TB just keep him as sheltered as possible.. why risk derailing his emotional state by opening him up to more ‘botched surgery’ headlines and the kind of internet tabloid silliness that follows high profile appearances.

I dont understand why Axl did not join Slash and Duff (who it seems was a close friend of Taylor) to say a few words on the video. Its seems disrespectful.
Well I'm a harsh critic of Axl but to be fair he tweeted about him, and literally dedicated his tour to Taylor. + wore T-shirt with his pic if I remember.

4K or 1080p, the most important thing here is that we'll get an 'official' release from one of the coolest shows in one of the most crazy years of GNR.
