Your all good guys and we all make mistakes. If we accept that in ourselves and others we'll all be good. Don't fight over silly internet drama, have a beer and have a great, kind day.

    You're*

(Sorry, I just wanted to be part of the drama. This is my one post for the year)

Congratulations! What kind of role are you moving into?

Analyst role, so working with finances. Totally different from the creative role that I was in, but better suited in my view.

Is Len still alive? Has dazey eaten him? He's not been online since August.

I am sorry to hear this. And if I am not entirely mistaken, you are a very fit young man. Hope you will recover fully soon.

Used to be! I've gone from triathlons to very little - just weights. Cardio isn't my friend at the moment as I need to keep fairly light levels - if I go strenuous, my body either struggles, or I get ill again.

  4. I had covid in May of 2020. It was a really unpleasant 10 days, and I actually messaged some of my friends that I actually thought I wasn't going to get better.

Spoiler, I did get better, but not a lot better. For the last 18 months I have had every long covid symptom except erectile dysfunction.

Every 2 months or so, I get really bad chest infections, and they come with full fever and exhaustion like a severe flu.

10 days ago it led to me being hospitalised as I had developed pneumonia. It's mental how this has all come from one bout of illness.

I've been promised a job since August. It's still not happened. It's a diagonal move though, which would mean more pay and the potential for way more pay in the future. I'm not qualified to make that move for any other company, and am only being offered it because they can see i'm capable first hand. It's not CV qualification stuff.

    I feel trapped.

It's just been pushed through

    Glad your better

    What was it like?

It was pretty much like any other infection I have ever had (Flu, parainfluenza, line infections, kidney infections)

Day 1 - extreme fatigue, tight chest

Day 2, 3 & 4 - fatigue, tight chest, cough, shivvering uncontrollably, temp and night sweats.

Day 5 & 6 - fatigue, tight chest, cough, temperature

    Day 7 & 8 - fatigue, tight chest, cough

    Day 9 & 10 - tired but basically recovered

  8. There are lots of out gay footballers within a club, but what's in the dressing room goes no further. Band of brothers and all that.

Anybody who believes otherwise is extremely naive - we all knew the gay kid at school who comes out in his late 20's.

Swear I read recently they said on Twitter they had bottled it.

A Premier League football is going to announce they're transgender in the next three weeks.

I'll be back in two weeks to say they've lost the courage to admit it.

    Rinse and repeat.

It's a pretty well controlled condition now, to the point I think they've successfully blocked transmission using the latest drugs.

As for this story, bullshit. Every year the sun say that a gay footballer is going to come out. Never happens.

10 days left to announce 😅

  11. I'm a fat bugger these days. I started lifting a few months back, but then losing my job made me feel awful, and I only really got back to normality about 2 weeks ago.

I had hit 95kg, i'm now back down to 91.6kg as of this morning. In 2016 i got down to 72kg and it was too skinny, so 82kg is a midway point.
