I just can't personally with the post grunge influences, but happy to see BBF still doing his thing

I prefer the original, "It's a Beautiful Life" by Ace of Base
Haha, there are worse examples of pop-songs-being-the-same I think.

Miley Cyrus did an iconic performance of Flowers.

Why Seven? Do we know it has lyrics?

Can't believe how good Axl performed with ACDC. I'm glad for him that he has that in his legacy now.

I don't unequivocally hate the use of AI here but wish it was more balanced in favor of live shots.

Is it just me or does the audio sound better here? The mixing isn't driving me crazy like it usually does. Maybe I'm just numb now.

This is super interesting. Has anyone else ever said it so on-the-nose besides Axl? It's actually so on the nose that it makes me doubt that Dave's account is the full truth.

1) Axl’s sense of melody just realllly speaks to me. He writes and delivers vocals in a way I find catchy, even in the songs that I don’t like as much.
2) good riff driven hard rock with the coolest sounding guitar tones in the whole business

While ACDC might have slightly accelerated the decline of Axl's voice, it still would have come anyway. As others have said, Axl sounded pretty good in 2016/2017 on the GNR tour.

Were GNR considered corny by people below the age of 20 by the end of 1993? That's the sense I get from some of the posts above.

Why are the drums so flat and shitty sounding?

I fucking hate Slash’s wahwahwah fill in the beginning of each verse

"Associated Performer, Guitar: Marc Haggard"
Who the fuck

I only listened to the leak once. Really liked it, figured it would sound a lot better when the real one came out. The mix is one thing, but so many weird production choices too...but honestly, that's a signature of Axl in the CD era, so it makes sense. Glad we got it, good song. It wouldn't be GNR if it wasn't fucked up in some way.
For some reason it feels slower to me.

Given the nature of how these songs came about, they're always going to have that copy paste sound to them.

Were/Are The Darkness big outside the UK?
I believe in a thing called love was big. Not sure about other songs

Justin's being kind, he's always been quite sympathetic to Axl

I watched the trailer and it really brought up some emotions. The song sounds beautiful. Gonna set the scene before I listen to this one for the first time (meaning, get high after work tonight)

What does Axl say before it plays? Just the usual "this is the first time...might fuck up.." stuff?
-
Wow. Feels like Axl knew he wasn't going to let this song sound like shit live, it's too important.
What's with the alligator

Axl truly sounds absurd performing the song Absurd

Can someone tell me, was hard school always not "appreciated" by the fandom? I always see so many people on the forum ranking it so low or saying all the "reunion" songs suck. I personally love Hard School and always have since the original leak. I do prefer the original opening rather than the school bell, but still I love the version that was released.
It’s the spelling of Skool, the song is automatically bad for that and the accompanying school bell

Bach also described Sorry as doom metal, the guy is fucked
