Was the possibility of this song having featured Brian May been completely rulled out? I've been out of the loop for a while.
And I think the OP is bold to assume the band still has the masters - in order to remove the original solo.

Yeah, that is very possible as well, we have no idea how Spotify's agorithm works.

Welp. What you just said about the songs is your personal opinion, of course. I, for one, love both Atlas Shrugged and State of Grace. Couldn't care less about Perhaps, however. And I don't think anyone expects from GNR or thinks of them anything different from your description of a couple calling a nanny in so they can attend the concerts and relive good memories.
That said, if indeed there's nothing going on, and there probably isn't, I know, I know, it's GNR, nothing ever happens but endless concerts, but if indeed there's nothing going on, that means Spotify is not worse than previously imagined, but in fact magical, in the sense that we're generating the Guns N' Roses page on the search result pages for "State of Grace" and "Soul Mo" by repeatedly searching for it while thinking of Guns N' Roses - an occult technic known as hyperstition, that is, to bring something into reality trough a repetition of deliberate coincidences.
Either option would equally amaze me.

Ok, my two cents... Among Apple Music and the Amazon service, Spotify is by a mile the cheapeast of them, in the sense that it's the most popular and also the one that it's the easiest to upload your own material to if you have any.
There are services like Anchor, mostly used for podcast, which will upload your material on practically every platform at the same time. That said, apart from podcasts, any new material to be uploaded doesn't go online immediately - or after upload. They have to be approved.
Services like these have dozens, hundreds of employees worldwide checking the uploaded material for any sort of irregularity, such as artwork that needs to be censored or, most importantly, unauthorized sampled material at best, plagiarism at the worst. People working jobs like this listen to dozens of albums a day, and they don't listen to the whole thing, obviously. You develop a technic.
The point is: if any brand new material from Guns N' Roses were to be uploaded on streaming services, it would have been sent to the responsible platforms way earlier than the due release date. Once the material is among the database, it is possible that some functions would bug and the search results could, for example, lead to dead-ends which, however, are simply expressing a link that while it's already on the databse, has not yet been made public. Being Spotify, as I said, the cheapeast of these services, if any of them would present such features, it would be Spotify.
Lastly, and this is my personal opinion, I don't see how searching for these words would lead for the Guns N' Roses page if there were not already in the deep web of the plataform's database those exact same matches.
But I could be wrong.

10 years ago this thread would have 170 pages instead of 17.
This year's show was much better though.
Ha.

Loving this Dracula Axl for November Rain.

Let's all remember that Absurd (Silkworms) was played on 2001 at Rock in Rio.
I attended Rock in Rio 2011 expecting to see it live, or Checkmate.
Now we get both 11 years later.
Axl's a time traveler. He's constantly bringing stuff from the future.
(And he's clearly into numerology too).

It's clear Axl puts the line up there.
He tries to sing it real good. And he simply does not sing it if he can't do it. Tonight at least.
He didn't sing the last verse of the bridge between the solo and the last chorus on You Could Be Mine, and he didn't do the scream in Welcome To The Jungle after asking "Do you know where the fuck you are?"

I never thought I would say this but I... I'm liking Frank?
Rocket Queen, superb so far. Incredible, I didn't know they were playing like this.

Pretty sure he had too much caipirinha before the concert
Or just the sugar, right?
Just joking. I don't think Axl does hard drugs anymore, but I could be wrong.
The caipirinha, though? Definetly.

He said "Good night Brasilia" or something like that at a moment, weirdly.

Something tells me this reunion thing is gonna start winding down. I feel like Axl is trying to squeeze all he has left out on these dates. What do I know though. They've surprised us all before
Yeah, this is probably the last breath they can do without any big novelty. The rest of the shows in Brazil have not sold out - almost all did last tour in Brazil, though.
That said, they're kicking ass tonight. As someone who has not recently watched many GNR live performances on video apart from the Selects and has not attended a GNR show in 8 years - something I'll amend next week and am very much looking forward to - the band sounds heavy, and tight. I'm surprised, and in a good way.

Man, it's so good to stop by and see the fanfics are strong as ever. By the way, does anyone knows what happened to Guns N' Fn' Roses Dot Com?

I'm sure this has been answered but are the vocals on this song new or from 2000/01? Also I wonder if this opens up the possibility of releasing other Chinese Democracy era tracks like Atlas Shrugged or the General that didn't make the cut.
You could argue that the band could've slowly released these songs through singles and EPs years ago. I also have to wonder if Axl took notice of the reaction to the leaks a few years ago and saw that there was genuine interest and even positive reaction to a good portion of the material.
They don't sound new, right? I think it's the same from that oldass demos, apart from the word Absurd, which appear to have been recorded more recently.

I think they're more easily reachable on Instagram.
-
I guess? Was that around the to aviod any incident?
Just for giggles:
1999 - 2000 Intentions
2002 - Chinese Democracy
2006 - Chinese Democracy II
2010 - Guns N' Roses
2011 - The Chinese Democracy Remixes
2014 - Legend of the Red Panda
2017 - Stay Of Execution
lol.
-
Don't forget the Selftitled that went around 2010 too.
-
Even if these counted as evidence, means nothing, as we've had plenty of evidence they had been recording almost ten years prior to their last release.

Maybe what happened wasn't in between Abu Dhabi '10 and Rio '11. I like to think whatever happened, happened midconcert in Rio '11, or just before it. Going Down was on the setlist, they rehearsaled Oh My God. Then we got a two/three hours late start with a sad Axl on a soaked stage. He had a face like something had just been broken.
Who knows.

Just found Voodoochild's detective work with the folks over the Queen forum and I guess we can really rule out Brian May being on this song.
