  1. Ok, my two cents... Among Apple Music and the Amazon service, Spotify is by a mile the cheapeast of them, in the sense that it's the most popular and also the one that it's the easiest to upload your own material to if you have any.

There are services like Anchor, mostly used for podcast, which will upload your material on practically every platform at the same time. That said, apart from podcasts, any new material to be uploaded doesn't go online immediately - or after upload. They have to be approved.

Services like these have dozens, hundreds of employees worldwide checking the uploaded material for any sort of irregularity, such as artwork that needs to be censored or, most importantly, unauthorized sampled material at best, plagiarism at the worst. People working jobs like this listen to dozens of albums a day, and they don't listen to the whole thing, obviously. You develop a technic.

The point is: if any brand new material from Guns N' Roses were to be uploaded on streaming services, it would have been sent to the responsible platforms way earlier than the due release date. Once the material is among the database, it is possible that some functions would bug and the search results could, for example, lead to dead-ends which, however, are simply expressing a link that while it's already on the databse, has not yet been made public. Being Spotify, as I said, the cheapeast of these services, if any of them would present such features, it would be Spotify.

Lastly, and this is my personal opinion, I don't see how searching for these words would lead for the Guns N' Roses page if there were not already in the deep web of the plataform's database those exact same matches.

    But I could be wrong.

  2. It's clear Axl puts the line up there.

He tries to sing it real good. And he simply does not sing it if he can't do it. Tonight at least.

He didn't sing the last verse of the bridge between the solo and the last chorus on You Could Be Mine, and he didn't do the scream in Welcome To The Jungle after asking "Do you know where the fuck you are?"

Something tells me this reunion thing is gonna start winding down. I feel like Axl is trying to squeeze all he has left out on these dates. What do I know though. They've surprised us all before

Yeah, this is probably the last breath they can do without any big novelty. The rest of the shows in Brazil have not sold out - almost all did last tour in Brazil, though.

That said, they're kicking ass tonight. As someone who has not recently watched many GNR live performances on video apart from the Selects and has not attended a GNR show in 8 years - something I'll amend next week and am very much looking forward to - the band sounds heavy, and tight. I'm surprised, and in a good way.

I'm sure this has been answered but are the vocals on this song new or from 2000/01? Also I wonder if this opens up the possibility of releasing other Chinese Democracy era tracks like Atlas Shrugged or the General that didn't make the cut.

You could argue that the band could've slowly released these songs through singles and EPs years ago. I also have to wonder if Axl took notice of the reaction to the leaks a few years ago and saw that there was genuine interest and even positive reaction to a good portion of the material.

They don't sound new, right? I think it's the same from that oldass demos, apart from the word Absurd, which appear to have been recorded more recently.

  5. Maybe what happened wasn't in between Abu Dhabi '10 and Rio '11. I like to think whatever happened, happened midconcert in Rio '11, or just before it. Going Down was on the setlist, they rehearsaled Oh My God. Then we got a two/three hours late start with a sad Axl on a soaked stage. He had a face like something had just been broken.

    Who knows.
